Monday, Prime Gaming ruined my life for a short while, Valve will fill existing Steam Deck orders this year, and another Warhammer 40K game got a release date. Tuesday, Wrath of the Lich King Classic’s release was confirmed. Wednesday, We Are OFK got a series of release dates, the first of this month’s Game Pass games were unveiled, and Hokko Life announced its full release date. Thursday, Riot revealed that another game I wouldn’t touch with a ten-foot bargepole will be free-to-play, and the Switch crossed 111 million sales.

Moving on to this week’s free game on the Epic Games Store, it is something that is actually quite good but needs the right circumstances. Unrailed! is a co-op/party game about building a railway as the train trundles along steadily into nearly endless precarious situations that have you swearing at some people. If you’ve ever wanted to know what it was like to write Star Trek: Picard‘s first season, this seems to be a great analogy for how that ended. It is a joyous and colorful little bundle of blind rage and swearing at people to chop wood faster while bandits wait on the other side of the forest.

All this week you can pick up Indoor Astronaut’s Unrailed! for free on the Epic Games Store, until the morning of the 11th of August. Swiftly moving on to next week, I get to do my Gordon Ramsay impression once again, as the third Cook, Serve, Delicious! game is available for a week. Released originally back in 2020, and something David reviewed almost a year ago now, Cook, Serve, Delicious! 3?! is something I am sure several people will be excited to get their hands on.
