Buckle up kids, the news right now is about as thick as my desire to listen to William Shatner about how Star Trek is only now become political. On Monday, Alexx spoke about how the MultiVersus‘ open beta has been extended indefinitely because Warner Bros hasn’t made enough stupid decisions lately. Also on Monday, Samuel spoke about the all announcements at the weekend’s EVO event. Then on Wednesday, the beginning of this week’s multiple delays continued, as Marvel’s Midnight Suns was delayed and likely won’t be out at all this year.

Moving on to this week’s game, it is Vertigo Gaming’s Cook, Serve, Delicious! 3?!. About this time last year, David gave a review of the sequel to the one I’d reviewed what feels like several moons ago. Another in the series of stressful and satisfying button presses of the QTE variety, to miss out on Cook, Serve, Delicious! 3?! as a fan of the previous two games is a disservice to yourself. I don’t believe there is a better way to sell it. It is more of the same and I am (as the kids say) here for it.

All this week you can pick up Cook, Serve, Delicious! 3?! for free on the Epic Games Store until the morning of the 18th of August. Moving on to next week, I think I’m going to see how many pens I can swallow before I die of poison from the ink. How many brawler games need to release in just as many weeks? Next week it is the “content pack” for Boom Boxer in Epic’s own Rumbleverse. It is a free-to-play thing with microtransactions, and one of the characters has a booster pack that probably costs $15 but will be free for a while as a way to make you play it.
