Jeffrey, Jeffrey, give me your answer do, why is every month so bloody poo? It is a new month, so that means we’re once again having to prompt you with the tripe from BrawlhallaVALORANTWoWRobloxPokémon GoRunescapeDiablo IVCall of DutyOverwatch 2World of TanksCompany of Heroes 3, and so much more. Though jumping back a little to August, those who are quick can pick up Quake 4 available through GOG. Though that’s enough about last month and the tripe of this month for Prime Gaming, let’s talk about the games.

From the 7th of September, you’ll be able to pick up Football Manager 2023, which I found out last week doesn’t have women’s teams. Instead, you’ll have to wait until FM25 for a version of something that is actually interesting. I’m quicker to watch the Women’s World Cup than the men because it is actually good. Do I have to explain Football Manager to you? You take over/create a team that seeks to win the championship or get promoted from whatever league they are in, and you play via spreadsheets. Available through Epic, those in Brazil will miss out for whatever reason that Amazon doesn’t give.

There is nothing but remains around the decay of that colossal wreck, boundless and bare is September 14th, as The Secret Games Company sees the words appear “My name is Ozymandias: Bronze Age Empire Sim.” Oh, we’ve gone high-brow all of a sudden, haven’t we? A 4X strategy with the Greek name for Pharaoh Ramesses II (Ramesses the Great) set in that age of bronze. As such, you’ve got Babylonia, Assyria, Elam, and so on. The generally favorable set of reviews means this will be an alright title to pick up on the 14th through GOG.

Available through the Amazon Games app from the 14th, you’ll be able to pick up 2022’s Absolute Tactics: Daughters of Mercy. Lambasted for being very Final Fantasy Tactics in its gameplay inspiration, I think that might be undoing something reasonably ok with a lot of damning praise. Emphasis on the damning. As I said a lot recently in my review of Sea of Stars, I didn’t grow up with a love of turn-based RPGs so I’m not talking as a fan. However, I think Absolute Tactics at least has a charming art style. If nothing else, there are two positives: gameplay mimicking something beloved and a great art style.

Onto the 21st for another double bill, and we’ll start with the 2022 point-and-click adventure from Dexter Team Games, Dexter Stardust: Adventures in Outer Space. As the studio’s first and (currently) only game, the adventure for a chiseled jaw with a smug man attached seems like a cliché from the outside and sometimes that can be played to be reasonably funny. Being an obscurity and a well-received one at that, I have to say that it wasn’t on my radar before and may still be at the bottom of my list this month.

Chess with a twist? I think I will thank you! Shotgun King: The Final Checkmate puts you in the role of the king on the board. They are the last remaining black piece, which just so happens to be holding a shotgun. Visually made to look like a CRT TV running the default texture pack of almost any Devolver Digital game, I’m surprised PUNKCAKE Delicieux never got a publishing deal with the house of ultra gore. It seems stupid fun, and it might finally get me to learn chess. I’m all in for this one when it comes to Amazon Games on the 21st.

A game for your nan is next on the 28th, via the Legacy Games thing that I don’t understand. Unsolved Case: Murderous Script Collector’s Edition is a Veronica Mars type of game with hidden object gameplay. Get the Oxygen tank and get huffing some gas because you are going to need it to solve some of the absolutely mental “puzzles” in store for you when you play Do Games Limited’s March release from earlier this year. At the very least, I’ll praise the artists because they are the only ones not on copious amounts of drugs to make the game.

The final game for the month also available from the 28th is a repeat of what we got last year via Epic, so I can speak on this one. Hundred Days – Winemaking Simulator is a so-so management game that if you are trying to rush the tutorial to write up an article, you won’t really enjoy too much. However, generally speaking it isn’t bad. Colorful and detailed, you can create your perfect bottle of vin fait de pisse so it can become pisse faite de vin. Maybe it isn’t what should have ended the month, but alright nonetheless.
