Friday, Prime fell out of Jeffrey’s anus. Monday, Mike covered the anime romcom you should watch during Summer. Tuesday the Switch successor was announced, just quietly, and Star Wars stuff returns to Fortnite. Wednesday, Hades II is now in early access, because I guess building to a release isn’t worth it anymore. Thursday, Heading Out is now out on Steam.

Moving on to the Epic Games Store, we’ll start with the free-to-play thing that always tires me out trying to care enough. Firestone: Online Idle RPG has a limited-time skin thing, hold on while I idly don’t care about this free-to-play, in-app purchases, pile of utter tripe. “Get 200 Gems, 10 Common chests, 5 Uncommon chests, 10 Wooden chests, 5 Iron Chests, 360 Strange Dust, 50 Scrolls, 2  exclusive Avatars, 35 Game Tokens, 5 Prestige Token[s], and 1 exclusive Skin,” the description reads. All of which is supposed to be valued at $100, I’d hardly give you a buck fifty.

Onto the actual game that is available that I should have had a review for already, Circus Electrique. A somewhat unique but easily comparable title to Darkest Dungeon/Iratus, there are certainly flaws to Zen Studios and Saber Interactive’s 2022 circus-Steampunk-themed tactical RPG. Most often being noted for sometimes being overwhelming, be it gameplay or simply the challenge. Despite this, the consistent thing said is that there is something unique, and I think that’s the minimal circus management and crafting aspect.

All this week, you can pick up Circus Electrique on the Epic Games Store and if you’re feeling extra dull, you can do the same for that “online idle RPG” nonsense too. You have until the morning of the 16th of May to do so, at which point we’ll be moving on to something else. I wish I knew what. Yes, it is that time of year again when we’re about to have a summer sale and Epic offers mystery games, some of which you probably already have. I can’t wait to not be interested in Fart Sniffer 3000, a remastered retro shooter from the Atari.
