It might feel a little late into the month, but it has been two weeks since the first Xbox Game Pass February wave. Starting on a Wednesday this month and only having 28 days means this wave is left to cover only a little more than a week. As small as it is, there are still some notable additions so let’s break down what’s being added.

With Atomic Heart having only recently released, there is some time between the next set of games. The first two are coming in at the end of the month and the other two are joining a few days into March. First on February 28th is Merge & Blade for cloud, console, and PC. By mixing auto-battle mechanics and puzzles, players will merge their units to create stronger ones before sending them out to huge battles.

Coming out the same day for cloud, console, and PC is Soul Hackers 2. Fans of the Shin Megami Tensei franchise are sure to enjoy this one, as it’s a new installment in the Devil Summoner spin-off series. Though it has dropped the Shin Megami Tensei label to become its own franchise, presumably. Artificial intelligence, devil summoners, and demons come together to prevent the apocalypse in turn-based combat. For a more in-depth look, check out Alexx’s review.

The next game to be added on March 2nd is F1 22 for console and PC through EA Play. This latest entry in the F1 motorsport series boasts new car models as well as updated physics. A new hub mode called F1 Life has also been added, letting players customize an avatar and interact with others.

That brings us to the last game, which is also the most anticipated. March 3rd will see the day-one release of Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty for cloud, console, and PC. Based on a fantasy version of the Three Kingdoms period in China, players will use Chinese martial arts and Nioh-gameplay to take on supernatural demons.

With the new games out of the way, that leaves us with the games that will be leaving. There’s just a little under a week left to check out the following: Alien: Isolation, Crown Trick, Dragon Ball FighterZ, Far: Changing Tides, Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII, Madden NFL 21, and Octopath Traveler.

Samuel Moreno

Samuel (he/him) has been obsessed with video games since he was a kid watching bumbling zombies shuffle down a hallway in Resident Evil 20+ years ago (it's debatable if he should have seen a mature-rated game at that age but he's personally okay with it). His hobby of writing and talking people's ears off about video games has always felt like a perfect match. Feel free to let him talk your ear off on Twitter!: https://twitter.com/xxsammorenoxx
