I’m sure everyone has had the urge to look at someone else, wave a magic wand, and undo some sort of fashion crime. We’ve all seen them, and they’re always a bit uncomfortable to bring up. However, what if you could be part of the fashion police? Well, No More Robots and Mopeful games have an exciting answer to that question.

Their latest game, Fashion Police Squad is releasing on August 15th, for Steam and Epic. It is an entirely non-violent shooter about taking on fashion crime. At launch, Fashion Police Squad will be $19.99 which seems reasonable once you watch the trailer. Here is what the press release has to say about Fashion Police Squad.

The Fashion Police Squad has been mobilized, as things in Trendopolis are not gucci *at all*. Baggy pants… dull suits… sightings of socks with sandals?! Something is going down, so the FPS are grabbing their Belts of Justice and Tailormade Sewing Machines, and heading out to Vera Wang some fashion sense into these lost souls.

Fashion Police Squad is a first-person “shooter” with a twist — you don’t hurt your targets, but instead non-violently show them how to get a better fit, and come out looking gorgeous… if they’re so Calvin en-Kleined, of course.

But each fashion crime needs dealing with differently, so you’ll need to keep switching weapons, and sussing out on the spot which utility fits which crime. Will you Jimmy Choo-se to light up their dull suits with the 2DYE4 Carbine Elite, or maybe whip a belt around those saggy pants?

You won’t need to go Dior to Dior hunting down a copy of Fashion Police Squad, as it’ll be available direct from Steam and Epic on August 15th, with console launches to follow soon afterward.

As a member of the LGBT Mafia myself (don’t I wish we had member benefits) the campy, fabulous nature of this game is incredibly endearing. I’m very excited to see this come out on consoles too, as I’d love to take my unique brand of fashion justice on the go with my Nintendo Switch. August 15th is coming quickly for PC users though, so go wishlist this if you’re interested.
