Two major changes came to Warzone in the last update: a hidden bunker and new Gulag weapons. Are either a good thing? Honestly, I’m still trying to figure it out. I don’t think the bunker makes much of a difference at the end of the day, but it’s changing the way people are playing. Likewise, new Gulag weapons are completely changing the way you can reenter the game. Let’s chat about these changes in Call of Duty: Warzone.

Warzone Changes to the Gulag

The Gulag is where dead players get one more chance to come back to life. You 1v1 another departed player with a gun, one destructive grenade, and one tactical grenade. At the game’s launch, you usually had a sort of pistol or shotgun. In other words, no automatic weapons. Now, players get access to autos, which is changing the way the Gulag runs. Instead of being strategic, you simply need to find the other person first.

In my opinion, this addition is sort of ruining the Gulag for me. There are several instances where no skill is needed to stay alive now. While that’s great for novice players, it offers little incentive to play the game strategically. Hopefully, we’ll see the return of less mindless weapons soon. Speaking of weapons choices, what’s going on with this bunker?

The Bunker Holds All

So, we have a new hidden bunker that players can access in Warzone via key-card. By doing so, you gain access to a bunch of fun weapons. It’s a sure-fire way to get an advantage, so long as opponents don’t find you and kill you first. Everyone is assuming this is a nod to the new Black Ops game, so we’ll see if more hints pop up in Warzone in the coming months. If you’re enjoying Warzone, then let us know in the comments!
