Monday, we got out the Prime Gaming update for January. Don’t worry, it isn’t that interesting, you’ll probably not want to bother with this month at all. There was no other news this week, as we’ve been on a break for the last three weeks, something desperately needed after all that was last year. We’ll be returning properly this coming week, but for the most part, we’ve exhausted our run of articles for a break and have to come back to work now, so let’s talk about the Epic Games Store.

This week you can pick up the less successful Love album, Sail Forth. 60s American rock albums aside, you captain a fleet of self-made ships in Festive Vector’s 2022 title with an ocean of monsters that might not be giving DREDGE a run for its money but certainly aims for it. Generally favored and likened to the sort of gameplay some would have liked from Sea of Thieves, Festive Vector and The Quantum Astrophysicists Guild’s Sail Forth might be a slightly hidden gem some of us have been waiting for.

You can pick up Sail Forth on the Epic Games Store until Thursday, the 18th of January. Moving on to next week and it’s something that I’m not all too pleased about, someone stole my joke about Four Sail already as it is Love. A 2014 pixel-perfect platformer, this retro-styled platformer wants precision above all else, which will annoy some who attempt to play to no end. The masochists among us are less so, but either way, I’m sure Fred Wood is practically inundated by people swearing his name already.
