If you’ve seen any preview footage, you’ll notice that Mirage looks like it plays much more closely to the original Assassin’s Creed games than the later, open-world titles. I’m personally excited to see how this new entry melds the two together. It’s a little crazy to think about how this is the 13th major installment of the series. It honestly makes me feel kind of old.

Either way, I’ll be grabbing this one in a few weeks and I’m excited to see how the Ubisoft team has advanced the experience. Assassin’s Creed Mirage will launch on October 5th for PC via the Epic Games Store and the Ubisoft Store, as well as for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and Amazon Luna.
