Puzzle Quest 3 Heading to Consoles

Publisher 505 Games is a steady name in the space, however, thanks to massive franchises like Puzzle Quest. A mix of RPG elements and puzzle-matching games, the series’ latest installment is set to arrive on consoles at the end of May. If you’re not usually someone who plays mobile games, then here’s why this one might be worth your time.

Released in 2022, the game took about 10 years of development to release because real-time player feedback drives the gameplay and systems central to the series. “We’re so proud to be able to provide console fans with the best puzzle gaming experience yet, bringing to life our long-term vision of creating free-to-play multiplatform games for players around the globe,” said Clive Robert, Head of Free-to-Play at 505 Games in a press release.

As a free-to-play title on Xbox and PlayStation consoles of the last and current generation, there’s really nothing to lose by trying out Puzzle Quest 3. With daily quests and so many content updates thus far you’ll never run out of new puzzles. It’s a great time to hop into the franchise. A revamped tutorial system helps you learn the ropes of this surprisingly deep gameplay system and various combat classes make every puzzle worth trying a few times while you master your approach to the battles.

Launching May 31 on Xbox and PlayStation consoles of the last and current generation, players will get their hands on Puzzle Quest 3 with six seasons of content ready to roll.
