Now that you have provided your papers, perhaps we can have your organs? No, Organs Please isn’t crafted by the same team as the acclaimed Indie darling, Papers, Please, but the premise isn’t too far off from my question. Developed by TECHHOME, Organs Please is a satirical management sim that will have you harvesting organs from unsuspecting space refugees.

Here is what the press release has to say about the game. “In the future, Humanity clings to life on a dying Earth. Our only salvation is to leave the crumbling husk and head for Planet 42, the future home of the human race. Your mission is to help create the Ark, a spaceship that will transport select citizens to the new utopia – it’s up to you to decide who is worthy enough to join the mission.

In Organs Please, you will oversee the Factory – constructing components for the Ark and managing employees. Your job is to make sure the Ark is completed in time while balancing the various (deadly) requests of several factions vying for power, and recycling incompetent workers to use their body parts as resources.

The meaty Early Access version of Organs Please includes 2 in-game weeks, with various outcomes that add to its replayability. The final release of the game will consist of 5 in-game weeks, 6 different endings, crazy faction requests, and more. It will be released in early 2023.”

Now personally, I think this sounds not only demented as hell but hilariously fun. Granted, I will probably be terrible at it as I am with most Management Sims, but why not have a little fun with it anyway? The Early Access period is aimed to be fairly short, and the development team is shooting for a full release in January 2023.

They have also provided a roadmap already for their various planned updates. With this in mind, I think it’s a good idea to go ahead and check Organs Please out. It seems like we won’t have to wait long for some major content additions.
