It’s been three weeks since the previous wave of titles were added to the Xbox Game Pass service, but a lot has happened in the meantime. Less than a week later came the surprise announcement that Death Stranding was available to play through PC Game Pass, and it was only a few days ago that we learned about the Xbox Game Pass Friends and Family tier being tested in select countries. Now, the regularly scheduled news continues as eight new games are being added to the service over the next two weeks.

Three games are available now with two of them being day-one releases. The first is Disney Dreamlight Valley: Founders Edition, and is available for cloud, console, and PC. The life-sim was announced back in April and sees players live among popular Disney characters. Along with plenty of fishing and gardening mini-games, there are quests to take on and a mystery to solve. It’s available now in early access with the full game release expected in 2023.

The second day-one release is Train Sim World 3 for PC. While it can certainly be relaxing in its own right, as you explore three detailed routes with a brand-new lighting system, there are still challenges to be had in Train Sim World 3. Nine different locomotives are available to use against realistic and at times intense weather. Scenarios and trains alike can further be customized to your liking and shared through the Creators Club.

Continuing the trend of games developed by Zachtronics being added, Opus Magnum is now available for PC. This puzzle game tasks players with using an alchemist’s transmutation engine to create potions, weapons, and plenty more. Tackle the story or simply revel in the self-challenge you create for yourself in solving the open-ended puzzles.

Next week will see the remaining games added, starting on September 13th. Ashes of the Singularity: Escalation will be coming to PC. Set in a futuristic universe where humanity has expanded out into the galaxy, this RTS puts you in charge of entire armies filled with thousands of units and huge battlefields. Control rests firmly with you in deciding how to best take down your enemies.

Joining it on the same day is DC League of Super-Pets: The Adventures of Krypto and Ace for cloud, console, and PC. The titular canines take on Lex Luthor’s nefarious plots in an on-rails shooter. Krypto and friends will rescue other animals along the way and can pair them with the perfect owners at an adoption center.

Coming on September 14th for cloud, console, and PC is the day-one release of You Suck at Parking. Instead of simply racing through wacky obstacle courses and tracks to make it to the finish line, you’ll be doing it all to make the perfect stop in a parking spot. Customize your vehicle and take on 100+ solo levels and 50+ multiplayer levels with up to seven other players in this title.

September 15th will see the last two games of this wave added, both of which are day-one releases. Coming to console and PC is Despot’s Game. An auto-battler with Rogue-like tactics, it’s up to you to turn a group of weak humans into powerful warriors with various loot and perks. From wizards and ninjas to the unorthodox pretzel thrower, there are plenty of ways to die and kill monsters and players alike.

Rounding this wave out is Metal: Hellsinger for PC and Xbox Series X|S. Staying in sync with the beat is key as you take on hordes of demons with a multitude of weapons. Helping to make the metal atmosphere feel more authentic are exclusive tracks made by popular metal vocalists, including Serj Tankian from the Armenian-American heavy metal band System of a Down.

New games coming in also unfortunately means it’s time to say goodbye to some, and this time there’s a lot. Players have until September 15th to try out the following titles:

His hobby of writing and talking people's ears off about video games has always felt like a perfect match. Feel free to let him talk your ear off on Twitter!: https://twitter.com/xxsammorenoxx
