The team at Humble Bundle has made a commitment to supporting Ukraine in the face of Russia’s invasion. This isn’t the first instance of the video game industry or anyone involved with it coming forth to provide monetary support to relevant charities, as itch.io also recently offered a massive bundle of DRM-free games and pledged the proceeds from that to supporting Ukraine. As you gleaned from this article’s title, the Humble Stand with Ukraine Bundle won’t last very much longer. I’d like to tell you about it before it ends in case it sounds like something you’d like to pick up.

This bundle will cost you at least $40 USD or your regional equivalent. That may sound steep, but I would argue the bundle is worth the price of entry several times over based on the sheer amount of content you’ll receive in exchange for that pair of Jacksons. I’ll begin my brief overview of this bundle with the games present within it, since that’s most relevant to our mission here at Phenixx Gaming. However, I’m afraid I won’t be able to list off every single title available in this bundle simply because there are so many of them.

By my count, the Humble Stand with Ukraine Bundle contains approximately eighty-six games and a bit of downloadable content. As I said a second ago, due to the sheer volume of games present in this bundle, it would be fairly impractical for me to list all of them off. However, I can at least make you aware of the presence of a few games that stand out to me as highlights. The titles in question are Satisfactory, Back 4 Blood, Wandersong, Kerbal Space Program, Endless Space 2, Going Under, Warsaw, Toejam & Earl: Back in the Groove, the Spyro Reignited Trilogy, and Wizard of Legend.

Of course, this bundle doesn’t stop at just providing you with a truckload or two of new games that might catch your eye. It also includes some handy ebooks, a handful of comic books that are readable in several digital formats, some software that you might find useful, and some DRM-free 3D printing assets. To name a few examples of this extra content, this bundle contains the book Automate the Boring Stuff with Python by Al Sweigart, a complete game development course centered on Unity, GameMaker VX, and quite a bit more.

All of that is to say, if you’re looking for new ways to entertain yourself, new methods of learning something new, a way to dip your toes into game development, an excuse to buy and experiment with a 3D printer, or any of several other things, this bundle will likely help you accomplish whatever your objectives may be. I’d say forty bucks is quite an agreeable asking price for all of that, but I leave that to you to decide. In any case, the Humble Stand with Ukraine Bundle will be active until approximately 10am Pacific Time on Friday, March 25th, 2022.

David Sanders is an all-around complete and total nerd - the cool kind of nerd, don't worry. He greatly enjoys many different varieties of games, particularly several RPGs and turn-based strategy titles (especially Sid Meier's Civilization with a healthy amount of mods). When he's not helping to build or plan computers for friends, he can usually be found gaming on his personal machine or listening to an audiobook to unwind.
