After a strong first wave of games for February, it’s time to see what’s coming next. This time around there aren’t as many titles coming out to multiple platforms and half of them are through EA Play. However, there are still plenty of games to take up some of your time no matter if you’re on an Xbox console or PC. Here’s what you have to look forward to.

Available now is the Mass Effect Legendary Edition for Cloud through EA Play. You’ll be able to play the entire trilogy wherever you want on your supported phone, tablet, or laptop without worrying about downloading it.

Don’t be surprised if this gives you a little déjà vu. Mass Effect Legendary Edition was added to Xbox Game Pass and PC Game Pass at the start of the year. This just adds them to their offering of cloud games so fans and potential new fans can have a new way to experience it.

Next are a set of games coming on February 17th. The latest installment in the popular American football series, Madden NFL 22, will be available through EA Play for console and PC. As the game was released only six months ago, it should still have a healthy player base to live out your Superbowl dreams against. When you’re ready to take a break from playing on the grass (or turf), you can set out to cut some with Lawn Mowing Simulator. Although the game was already available on Xbox Series X|S and PC, it will soon be available for Xbox One owners as well.

Arguably the biggest addition and the only day-one release for this wave is Total War: Warhammer III on PC. The final entry in the popular strategy game trilogy that blends turn-based gameplay with real-time battles is set to feature a campaign map that’s double the size of the previous game’s. A world map that combines the campaign maps from all three games is also in development, albeit with no release date announced yet.

Coming a few days after those on February 22nd is the FPS roguelike Roboquest for PC. Taking movement inspiration from Doom along with cel-shading that is reminiscent of Borderlands, the early access game has you control a guardian robot and fight against much less friendly robots. Randomly generated areas, no checkpoints, and upgrades for multiple weapons will challenge players to master every level.

Two more games will be available on February 24th. Super Mega Baseball 3 is set to release on console through EA Play. Whether you’re looking for a fun animated baseball game to casually play and laugh at or a more serious simulator, you can get your baseball fill. For those looking for some strenuous strategy, it might be worth looking into Galactic Civilizations III that’s coming to PC. If there’s anywhere best suited for an expansive 4X strategy game, it’s the outer reaches of space. Players can begin with any of the various playable races and do their best to survive, diplomatically or not.

The final game for this month, and one that’s just available for PC through EA Play, is Alice: Madness Returns. Originally released in 2011 as a sequel to the 2000 title American McGee’s Alice, the game presents a more grim and psychological-horror take on the world present in the Lewis Carroll stories Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland and Through the Looking-Glass. Everyday items become unique weapons in Wonderland as you hack and slash your way through enemies.

Four games are set to leave on February 28th. These games include Hypnospace Outlaw, Killer Queen Black, Stealth Inc 2, and Touhou Luna Nights. If any of these have been something you’re slightly interested in, now’s the time to play them.

Samuel (he/him) has been obsessed with video games since he was a kid watching bumbling zombies shuffle down a hallway in Resident Evil 20+ years ago (it's debatable if he should have seen a mature-rated game at that age but he's personally okay with it). His hobby of writing and talking people's ears off about video games has always felt like a perfect match. Feel free to let him talk your ear off on Twitter!: https://twitter.com/xxsammorenoxx
