This recent string of Hitman games and I have a strange sort of relationship, something akin to love and hate, but I know better than to say that. I don’t want people with a penchant for dressing up and garroting someone to get the wrong idea. Most recently, I did a video on the second game with easily one of the best levels; Calling back to the Blood Money days, which David did a video on this week as well. Now, after some confusion and messy promotion, those that own Hitman 1 (2016) & 2 (2018) on PC can now import the levels into Hitman 3.

Though the game released a month ago, it was assumed by both IO Interactive and the Epic Games Store that the game would launch with this feature. Epic went as far as to state, “We never want players to feel forced to repurchase content on the Epic Games Store that they bought on another PC Store so they can access features in a new game.” As you can see above, following a quick bit of problem-solving over the last month, IO tweeted out a three-step guide to help players gain access to all their content in one place. This came alongside the recently announced roadmap for February content.

Now that the update is live, those that own Hitman 3 across the platform on any store can get to killing the globe over. From India to islands of the super-rich, towers in Dubai to Italian villages. Or as I was on about a minute ago, Hitman 2‘s Whittleton creek, which I featured in the review I did the other week. It, alongside David’s Blood Money video, are the first of a handful of videos we’ve transcribed to do that accessibility we’re always banging on about. Just follow the three-step guide, and you to can shoot a man in broad-daylight before dropping your gun and having to pick it back up before trying to hide at a party.
