Three Star Wars Games We Want to See

Under the new Lucasfilm Games monicker, all Star Wars games will exist in a single place. Also, they’ll all be included in the official canon. With this new frontier available after the expiration of the EA exclusivity deal, there’s a lot to look forward to for gaming fans of a galaxy far, far away. Here are three Star Wars games we want to see from the world of the Jedi.

Firstly, we need a Jedi Academy game for the modern era. The first two games in the series are still beloved to this day. The ports of the games to PS4 and Switch even sold well last year. A third entry in the series that features modern graphics and saber controls akin to Jedi Fallen Order could be a game-changer. Give us the ability to customize our Jedi and choose saber builds and I think you’ll have thousands ready to buy the game on day one.

A second game we’d love to see is the exploration of The Clone Wars from the perspective of multiple characters. I’d love to get to play a bit as the less-known Jedi on different missions featured in the animated series. It’s clear that Disney and the Lucasfilm team aren’t done with this era. The upcoming The Bad Batch show is still taking place in this era, and a game featuring them as well as some Jedi with whom they work could be a ton of fun to play.

Lastly, a game we’d love to see is the true Bounty Hunter experience that got canceled at EA. Give us an open-world game where we can take bounties and travel the galaxy. It’s the action RPG Star Wars fans dreamed of for decades. It doesn’t need to be The Mandalorian focused, but give us a new bounty hunter to explore. It’d be fun to have run-ins with Star Wars characters we know from the films and TV shows as well.
