Well, I can’t say I didn’t ask for it. Last week, I said a majority of the games with Twitch Prime in this weekly round of “#FGWP” (“free” games with Prime) are aimed at children. That is, of course, fine when we have thousands of kids at home during a lockdown. I can’t outright call all children the worst thing in the universe, not yet anyway. However, this week it was one of those other common things Twitch like to include in the games bundles, something older than those who like Fortnite. However, we’ll get to that later.

  • Today Words With Friends 2 drops a country singer that’s about as country as I am a hardcore rapper, maybe Christmas wrapper. The Garth Brooks tile is being swapped out for a Word Finder mystery box.
  • Tomorrow the 5th drop-in The Seven Deadly Sins: Grand Cross “loot” is set to take over for the present drop. Starting on June 23rd you’ll be able to pick up five enhanced potions.
  • On the 24th Destiny 2Teamfight Tactics, and King of Avalon leave, switch, or cause excruciating pain as I have to talk about another mobile game for another week.
  • Finally, on June 26th, Rocket League will hobble off after what feels like a lifetime. Meanwhile, Max: The Curse of the Brotherhood also wanders off into “What’s that again?”

This week Farmville got a kick up the hoop and was ported to phones in my head, as “Goodgame Studios'” Big Farm: Mobile Harvest has crawled onto my hit list. Until November 30th, I’ll be complaining about this mobile game that asks players to pay up to $99.99 to play. Nonetheless, from now until June 29th, you can get the Amazon Dragon Statue, because apparently, the Amazon rainforest is Welsh.

Also added this week was the 7th of the so far announced, 12 drops expected for Mobile Legends: Bang Bang. This week you can pick up the Ruby Cat Girl permanent skin, along with a 7-day trial of both Ruby and Johnson. With that, you also get 7-day trails of the Lady Zombie skin and Wreck King skin for each respectively. This offer is available until June 30th.

If you were a fan of fantasy MMO before anyone liked them and became weird and mainstream, you can pick up 400 RuneCoins, 20 Treasure Hunter keys, and 80 Hearts of Ice. The RuneScape: Premium Currency pack is available until July 14th.

Players of FIFA can pick up the 5th Prime Player pack. The 5th drop includes one pick of four players with 83 overall or better and five gold rare players. This offer is available until July 20th.

The one person funding Mafia City with its $99.99 microtransactions will be pleased to know the same guff that was available last week has refilled. Yes, you can still get the gold, the cargo, the cash, and 5-minute speed-ups that have been refilling bi-weekly for a couple of months now. This week’s update to the offer only lasts until July 2nd, for on the 3rd the final refill of this in-game “loot” dries up.

If you’re a fan of Apex Legends you’ll be gearing up for the upcoming event announced at EA Play Live. With that in mind, you might want to get yourself a new skin. The last I heard, you’re not allowed to do that with humans, anymore. So you’ll need Twitch Prime and a desire to play as Gibraltar so you can get his “Tribal Instinct” skin.

Lastly, the game for this week is Mad Tracks. Mad Tracks is a game released in early 2006 for the old Personal Computer and a year later as part of the Xbox Live Arcade. Think Micro Machines but a bit dodgier, a bit rougher, and generally, you can see where someone thought it would be a good idea to make a new Micro Machines but didn’t have all the resources or the name to license. It is fun enough but with a library of indie games, Triple-A action blockbusters, and anything else imaginable under the sun, I don’t think it lights anyone’s fire.
