Billie Eilish Leads Fortnite Festival Season 3

Fortnite Festival, the Guitar Hero/Rock Band game mode in the ever-expanding game’s arsenal of player options is launching its third season today. Heading this season is pop star Billie Eilish, who will be the face of the season until it ends on June 13. Players can unlock new Instruments, Jam Tracks, and other items in the Season 3 Festival Pass, which has a free reward track and a Premium Reward Track upgrade you can purchase now. Here’s a bit of information about what’s included this time around!

First off, purchasing the Season 3 Festival Pass automatically unlocks the Green Roots Billie Outfit, available for most modes of the game. A few highlights in the Pass include the Heart Groove Aura and Snow Beat Aura for when you’re really rocking. You can unlock a handful of free tracks via the normal game mode, but the Festival Pass also includes four premium Jam Tracks available to unlock:

Maroon 5 – “Maps”
The Cure – “Friday I’m in Love”
5 Seconds Of Summer – “Youngblood”
Billie Eilish – “Oxytocin”

A few other items, including the guitar pictured above, are going to be available via the Premium track of the season pass. With this being a Billie Eilish-themed season, you can also purchase emotes and a few of her top tracks, including:

Billie Eilish – “all the good girls go to hell”
Billie Eilish – “Happier Than Ever – Edit”
Billie Eilish – “Therefore I Am”

Excitingly, this is the first season we’re getting guitar controller compatibility, including a few devices you can use right now featured on the Fortnite blog. Epic plans to add more controller compatibility, but this is slowly becoming an incredible way to revitalize the music video game genre that dominated almost a decade between the 2000s and 2010s.
