Rhythm-based games don’t release often, but when they do, they often gain a huge following among fans who love to beat up enemies to a beat. One of the most popular rhythm-based games of recent memory is Crypt of the NecroDancer. With a ton of collaborations and DLC released, the latest guest spot in the popular game for PC, Switch, and PlayStation consoles is a familiar idol many know and love. Here’s what we know about the Crypt of the NecroDancer: “Hatsune Miku Character” DLC.

The Crypt of the NecroDancer: “Hatsune Miku Character” DLC will allow players to join Miku on stage and attack with her iconic dance moves. Fans of the character will be happy to have her added, along with a new way to dig by dashing through enemies and walls for rhythm-infused strategy. Miku’s ‘SING!’ ability is her best weapon, and she’ll be in style as she works through enemies as you unlock an official array of outfits.

There are 15 songs, including two new tracks, coming in the Crypt of the NecroDancer: “Hatsune Miku Character” DLCWhile you might not be a huge Hatsune Miku fan, this is a decent amount of content added to a pretty popular cult game.  If you’re not familiar with it, Crypt of the NecroDancer is a Rogue-like rhythm game by Brace Yourself Games. The game takes fundamental elements of a roguelike dungeon exploration game and adds a beat-matching rhythm game set to an original soundtrack written by Danny Baranowsky

The Crypt of the NecroDancer: “Hatsune Miku Character” DLC dropped on April 4th, for $1.99 USD on Steam and GOG. PlayStation and Nintendo Switch DLC release dates for the Hatsune Miku add-on is yet to be dated.
