Fallout-Themed Xbox Series X Giveaway Announced

The new Amazon Prime Video Fallout series will premiere on April 11, 2024, and Microsoft is launching a cool giveaway to commemorate the start of the show. Announced online, Xbox will be giving away a Fallout-themed Xbox Series X with its own seemingly-functional vault. Here’s what we know about this unique opportunity for superfans of the popular RPG series.

Announced on X, Xbox shared that fans will have a chance to win a custom Fallout Xbox Series X, controller, and Fort Knox vault to celebrate the launch of the Amazon Prime series. We know that the series, which will begin airing for Amazon Prime Video subscribers on April 11, is a variation on the Fallout 5 plot. In celebration of this, the giveaway is themed around the Fort Knox Vault 33 central to the story of the show. It appears from the photos that the vault will actually work and could keep your new XSX heavily protected.

There’s not an incredible track record for games getting adapted into movies or TV shows. Still, I can’t help but be somewhat optimistic given my love for the Fallout franchise. That said, I’d much rather get something like a New Vegas remaster than a series, but we can’t all get what we want. The giveaway ends April 14th, so you have a few weeks to get your entries in, which you can review the details of here.

It’s worth mentioning as well that plenty of other cool Fallout merch was announced recently. As seen above, you can design your own Fallout-themed controllers via Xbox Design Lab. You can also catch up on the franchise’s games by picking up the new Fallout Anthology that comes in a Mini-Nuke. Whether or not the show is what fans have been waiting for, it’s great to see the series getting so much love recently. Hopefully, some of the teams at Xbox Game Studios can get working on a new release for the franchise sooner than later.
