I’ve never really understood the whole “Pirates Vs Ninjas” thing. Ninjas are cool, Pirates are cool, why do we have to pit two hot folks against each other? Seems like a weird vibe to me. Regardless, this dichotomy is the focus of Steam’s latest sale, with the “Pirates Vs Ninjas Fest” running until January 29th.

Some highlights of this sale include Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder’s Revenge, which is on sale right now for 34% off at $17. You can also pick up Shadow Gambit: The Cursed Crew for $32 at 21% off its usual price.

For some more wild sales, Ghostrunner 2 (released in October) is now 51% off at a $35 price point, the lowest price I have seen so far. It is bananas considering how new the game is, and how good it is.

Realistically, most of Steam’s sales like this are reserved for older titles. However, you can always find some gems here and there if you are willing to look. One of my personal favorites that I see on sale right now is Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire, which is 75% off right now at $9.99. For a game that will get you well over 30-50 hours of gameplay that price is insanely good.

You can pick up any of these games on sale until January 29th. Keep watching your Steam account though, as a Steam Next Fest is coming in February. You might see a few games you wanna check out the demos for, or at least add a few more things to your wishlist. Until now, it seems like the Pirates Vs. Ninjas debate might just be at a stalemate.
