Lies of P Demo Ending Next Week

Anyone who hasn’t had a chance to sink their teeth into the Lies of P demo only has a little over a week to do so. It was initially added back in June, a little before the Koei Tecmo Games’ Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty collaboration was announced. It was then extended indefinitely on the initial ending date of the demo period. It’s since been available to download and Steam as well as both the Xbox and PlayStation storefronts. It’s certainly a long time for a demo, but it was never intended to last forever. A recent update has revealed that it will no longer be available after September 5th.

Your support and feedback have been invaluable in our ongoing development. Please take note that the Lies of P Demo will only be available for play until September 5th, 01:00 (PST) / 08:00 (UTC). If you have not yet had the opportunity to visit Krat, we encourage you to do so before the deadline. We extend our appreciation to all who have visited Krat thus far. We eagerly anticipate your return when the gates reopen on September 19th, with even more exciting content.”

This upcoming Souls-like from developers Neowiz Games and Round8, an inspired take on the tale of Pinocchio, has garnered much attention since it was announced two years ago. The Souls-like genre has seen plenty of entries that have tried to meet the heights of their From Software-developed influences. None have come close to the way this one game has in terms of excitement and player feedback.

The good news is there isn’t too long of a wait before we can experience the whole game. In the midst of a packed September month among juggernauts like Starfield and Mortal Kombat 1, Lies of P will be launching on September 19th for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S.
