With a new Warhammer streaming series on the horizon, as well as a variety of spinoffs and games, Warhammer is a pretty big thing right now. As such, it isn’t all that surprising that amongst the collaborative DLC that Powerwash Simulator has been releasing, they might decide to branch out. Developer Futurlab has announced that the world of Warhammer 40k is next on their list.

While we don’t know much about what the Warhammer 40K DLC will entail. However, we do know that it will be coming at the end of the year. This year-end release means it isn’t the next paid DLC on their list, since there is one that currently is a mystery coming this Fall.

Prior to the Warhammer 40k DLC release, there will not only be new seasonal content but also new free content that is part of The Muckingham Files. These missions are missions set in Powerwash Simulator’s world, not alternate worlds like the Midgar, Lara Croft, or Spongebob DLC. There will also be an as-yet-unnamed paid DLC pack that will presumably be another collaboration.

Personally, I’d love to see a Super Mario or Zelda-themed Powerwash Simulator DLC. Alternately, maybe something from another well-known IP like Dead by Daylight, Castlevania, or some other horror-adjacent franchise (Silent Hill maybe?) just in time for Halloween? Details are slim right now, but with the success of Powerwash Sim (and the roadmap in the tweet above) there seems to be a lot of content on its way.

It is also important to note that according to the roadmap (and Futurlab) the VR version of Powerwash Simulator has been delayed. However, the VR component should still be released sometime in 2023. Once we know more, we’ll keep you updated on the goings-on with Powerwash Sim. Do you have any favorite IP that you’d wanna see DLC for? Let us know in the comments!
