Demon’s Tilt entered the gaming world four years ago as an Early Access project. Digital pinball is something I’m very interested in, so naturally, I checked it out. I was shocked at how Flarb LLC, a company I had never heard of, was able to bring the pinball experience to a gaming console in such a unique yet authentic way. Now, the team behind arguably the best digital pinball experience to date is set to unveil their follow-up, Xenotilt.

Xenotilt: Hostile Pinball Action will feature three tiers in its theme, meaning you’ll progress to new parts of the table as you work through the game. In terms of theming, this sequel to Demon’s Tilt will take place on an alien spaceship where things are going, well, horribly. Using your pinball as a means to control weapons to fend off the alien attackers, you’ll have quite a fight ahead of you. That said, it’s not an impossible task thanks to a slew of features that expand pinball as an experience.

Using up to nine balls at once and a ton of on-playfield powerups, you’ll be running up scores and taking out hordes of aliens. Between the premise and the gameplay preview offered by the developers, I think this could be a huge hit. It certainly appeals to anyone interested in pinball, especially if you loved the first game.
