Genshin Impact Version 3.3 Revealed

Genshin Impact has kept to a constant schedule of new content and players have especially been enjoying the recent influx of updates as the time between the different versions has shortened from six weeks to five. While Version 3.2 was released earlier this month, we already have news about what’s upcoming in Version 3.3 with a new trailer, a special program, and a HoYoLAB article post.

It all starts with the From Ashes Reborn event wish. The first new character to be added is the Anemo-based Wanderer. Having been introduced early on in the story as Scaramouche or his codenamed Ballader, fans have been eagerly awaiting the chance to play as him. Although his role has been as an antagonist and even a boss battle in the current version, it didn’t take long for him to transition into a playable character. His weapon type is catalyst and he uses ranged and AoE attacks.

The second character that will be added within the same event wish is the only-recently introduced Faruzan. She is another Anemo-based user, though her weapon of choice is the Bow. Anyone that happens to miss out on pulling her from the first event wish will still have a chance with the following Oni’s Royale event wish, which returns alongside the fan-favorite Arataki Itto.

In addition to two new artifacts and two new weapons, there will also be plenty of events to play in. Some of these are reruns such as Windtrace, Ley Line Overflow, and a new iteration of the Misty Dungeon trail event. Brand new events include the balloon collecting Across the Wilderness and the Brick Breaker-like Akitsu Kimodameshi.

What might be perhaps the most significant and interesting new piece of content is the in-game Genius Invokaction TCG. This new mechanic allows you to play a trading card game against characters and NPCs for rewards. Other players can be played against as well, but there will be no rewards tied to PvP. The cards are based on various characters and they can all be obtained in-game.

Version 3.3, titled “All Senses Clear, All Existence Void”, will release on December 7th.
