I’m really stoked for Destroy All Humans 2: Reprobed. 2020’s release of the original was a highlight of the year for me, due to the nostalgia and polish of the remake. Now, with just over a month left until the sequel’s release, THQ Nordic has released a new trailer!

Destroy All Humans 2: Reprobed will release on August 30th and tasks you with taking on hippies, the KGB, and more during the 1960s! Crypto intends to get revenge on the KGB after they blow up the Furon mothership. His journey may very well require him to make alliances with humans, in order to complete his mission of enslaving the human race.

Here is what the press release says about the new trailer. “Citizens of planet Earth, you can run but you can’t hide from us! The new trailer for Destroy All Humans! 2 – Reprobed shows a variety of locations for players to explore, demolish, wreck, tear down, destroy…. Leave a path of chaos wherever you go! Maybe a skyscraper in Bay City, that beautiful bridge in Albion, or the KGB headquarters – what will be your next target?

Visit Bay City, Albion, Tunguska, Takoshima, and Solaris to seek your revenge and claim those pesky Human settlements in the name of the Furon Empire.”

As I mentioned in the last Destroy All Humans 2: Reprobed article, you can pre-order the game now. If you pre-order the game, you’ll instantly be rewarded with a copy of Destroy All Humans: Clone Carnage, a stand-alone multiplayer experience. Clone Carnage will be available for sale by itself of course, but why not get it free at the same time as Destroy All Humans 2?

Either way, we don’t have long to wait to take on humanity again. I really love this franchise, and I hope that this will not only lead to a remake of Destroy All Humans 3 but also potentially inspire the developers to create a new entry in the franchise. What would it be like if Crypto took on the 80s? Maybe Crypto could toss in some Y2K references at the turn of the millennium instead!
