Starsand Gets Early Access Roadmap

Tunnel Vision Studios and Toplitz Productions released Starsand into Early Access earlier this month. Reception to the game has been good, with over 70 percent of reviews being positive, giving the game a “Mostly Positive” rating on Steam. Now, the developers have decided to release a roadmap of their plans for adding content and features to the desert survival game.

Here is what the press release has to say in regards to the roadmap so far. “Starsand is now in Early Access and we are happy to get such amazing feedback and ideas from our community! We are proud to present the first roadmap for Starsand in which you might find some ideas/suggestions of our community!

What is on it? Let’s get on the details:

We’ll start with the highly anticipated full controller support; we know that players asked for this one. The next thing in line is camel husbandry, which will add new management options for your beloved quadruped companion.

Also, metal tools are coming as well, including a spyglass, so you can reach even further with your sight. More updates are scheduled for 2022 featuring new threats and a device that will help you traverse the dunes in a fast and fun fashion.”

Controller support is a fantastic option, not just for accessibility but for ease of play overall for people who might have issues with keyboard controls. It is great to see that the developers at Tunnel Vision Studios already have a vision in mind for where they want things to go. It is even better that they are willing to keep fans and potential players up to date so early in the Early Access process. 2022 looks to be a bright year for Starsand, and I’m sure those positive ratings will only increase as more things are added.
