Monday, a trojan horse may be targetting you, and Prime Gaming has a few good picks this month. Wednesday, the last of the Smash Bros Ultimate fighters was revealed, more GTA Remastered leaks have been revealed, and Rainbow Billy was released this week. While a 125GB file, including the Twitch source code, was hacked from Amazon’s streaming service, though once again, it has been reiterated there is “no indication” passwords/logins were compromised. Otherwise, it was quite a slow week in terms of news.

Onto the free game available through the Epic Games Store this week, PC Building Simulator. A bit like Ronseal, it does what it says on the tin. As an analogy, The Sims was a satirical look at the consumerist fantasy of America. Later, it became the only way a millennial, Gen Z, and onward would be able to own and build a house. PC Building Simulator is very much the same. The Sims, of course, was a result of some hoarding an abundance of wealth, tax loopholes, and inheritance being several forms of screwed up. PC Building Simulator in this case, is the result of people who rubbed their pockets as soon as RTX was announced and those Crypto… In fact, I’m going to stop there, because otherwise, I’ll swear lots.

How does it feel to know you’ll almost never be able to purchase a new graphics card once it releases (or a house for that matter)? Yes, I can also feel that existential dread too, but here we are, a world with people actively trying to burn the environment to the ground and others look to make games as close to reality as possible. That’s enough about people trying to recreate real-life Dark SoulsPC Building Simulator is actually a fine game, you build PCs, though it is a little lacking in excitement. My neighbor would love it, he’s the type of boring guy that rubs his pockets from fiddling with bikes (peddle bikes). I’m sure he’d love jacking in SATA cables and clipping in all those LGBT (“it’s RGB!”) lighting stripes. I’ll say it, it is good if you like that sort of thing, I don’t.

There is not much else I can say about that, it is what it is. All this week you can pick up PC Building Simulator for free on the Epic Games Store until the 14th of October. Moving on to next week, we’ll have a double bill. However, I’ll look old talking about one of them as I don’t care about free-to-play tripe and its extra gubbins being given away free via Epic for one week. So next week, you’ll have a fleeting mention of Paladins and possibly quite a bit of moaning about Stubbs the Zombie in Rebel Without A Pulse, one of the most ridiculous names conceived aside from Hillbilly Joe’s Basement Gunfight thing from Prime this month.
