Good morning, I am from the church of “Have you played Watch Dogs: Legion yet?” Ok, you try writing tens of articles on one game and still be funny about it. Let’s see how you get a laugh with zero experience of being funny in writing. You’ll be like a politician trying to apologize for daring to eat a sandwich in public or, like Ed Miliband, you’ll pretend that is a personality. Once again, I am back to talking about Watch Dogs: Legion, as if I don’t do that enough in my life already with the series on improving the soundtrack.

You see, this weekend you (yes you) can try the game out without having to pay the full price just for trying it. This (of course) is for PC users via the Epic Games Store and Uplay store, though nevertheless, you can still get the game without paying full price too. Along with this weekend’s free-trial period on PC, players on PC (Uplay & Epic), Xbox, PlayStation, and Stadia, can all get the game for up to 67% off for a limited time. You can currently download the free trial of the game. The trial will run from today, the 25th of March through to Sunday the 28th. Along with this, if you’ve not heard, the Online mode has now been released for PC too.

However, along with this came the roadmap, showcasing all the post-launch DLC coming throughout the year, starting in late April. Don’t we just love roadmaps? Split up into two sections, the blue highlighted portions are included in the game’s Season Pass. The purple highlights are “free content” seemingly all aimed at the online mode. The first of the Season Pass drops includes Mina Sidhu, a cosplayer of the 2013 Capcom game, Remember Me (no, I had to Google it was). Along with that comes a new mission that will be like all the others you’ve already played.

The free guff in April will be new assignments, an improved character customization system, new characters, and a new co-op mission. All of which, I’d probably be safe to assume will be online-focused as that’s where you can scrape the money back with microtransactions. Heaven forbid the base-game gets any improvements. Yes, the first “proper full” DLC Bloodlines is set for late June, but I think like most, the game’s story isn’t the real point when the characters are a little bland.
