You know, if it wasn’t for a pandemic, protests, gun violence, and Ubisoft having a mass exodus of their executive staff, you’d think 2020 was normal. With complaints about games looking just fine, Serge Hascoët’s comments on women, and my discontent with Twitch Prime, it almost felt normal for a moment. Nonetheless, we’ve got all the guff from a subscription service to run down. However, what will be leaving throughout the week will be loot for Big Farm: Mobile HarvestMinion Masters DLC, Mobile Legends: Bang BangLegends of RuneterraWarframe, and the free game Melbits World. So, be sure to quickly grab all of that “loot.”

So, what changed this past week? For Apex Legends players there is a little bit of a crossover. For about a week now you’ve been able to pick up the Swimming Buddy Pathfinder skin and a “Mix Tape” charm for your gun. Not being one for Apex Legends and finding a complete lack of information, I don’t know exactly why the mixtape charm is part of the offer. Though, I do know the offers end on August the 27th.

In what seems to be the last of the drops, I’ll soon never have to talk about The Seven Deadly Sins: Grand Cross. Finally, the last drop is a total of three event dungeon keys, probably unlocking dungeons with events in them. I really don’t know or care for that matter. The three event dungeon keys are available until August the 4th.

Do you even look at something in a video game and ask yourself, “Who makes sense of that?” This week you can pick up what Twitch/Amazon tell me is the third drop in this loop of their Black Desert Mobile drops, this time with the Abyssal Lightstone set. The little bit of information I’m given shows that the four-pieces of the set are called “Aan,” “Ti,” “Ki,” and “Tae.” I don’t know how anyone could make sense of that. Nonetheless, this offer also ends on the 4th of August.

As we saw at the Xbox showcase on Thursday, Destiny 2 is still wheezing on its last legs of the marathon through this console generation and into the next one. With that, the seventh drop for Twitch Prime subscribers comes the Tractor Cannon Exotic bundle. You receive a shotgun giving the bundle its namesake, a machinist’s trove exotic weapon ornament (brown weapon skin), the shadow trespass exotic ship, and the Cavalcade Legendary Sparrow. This offer ends on August the 19th.

The other week King of Avalon had a very hunky Nordic man looking like he stepped out of an adult parody for that TV show Vikings. This week it is a female character’s turn! You get mostly the same thing as last week with: 200 gold, 100 5-minute building speedups, 20 60-minute building speedups, 200K of food, 200K of wood, with 10 gold summoning horns, medium hero exp X 100, large Hero exp X 300, and 100 female Viking portrait pieces. This offer will end on the 5th of August.

I still don’t understand the point of Yahtzee with Buddies. You might as well play Yahtzee with a D20 against your cat. Nonetheless, this week’s drop is “Dice world rush giveaway,” which is on the levels of Big Farm: Mobile Harvest‘s profile picture nonsense from last week. By no means do the further several drops get much better, it is going to be a long run. The Dice World Rush giveaway offer ends on the 6th of August.

Remember when Doom (2016) released and it was red hot, you’d have people talking about it for weeks and months. When is the last time you’d heard anything about DOOM: Eternal? Well, this past week you’ve been able to pick up the Hotrod Slayer skin and more. They’re offering you the skin, a weapon skin, and a profile icon and title. Covering the slayer in charcoal black and painted flames coming from your hands and feet, you look a bit like a hotrod. This offer ends on the 21st of August.

If I thought the Ashley Violet thing for World of Warships was pandering to basic male brains, the “Azur Lane Container and commander” is drinking all the excretion of yellow liquids. If you don’t know, Azur Lane is a game of Moe Anthropomorphized World War II battleships that are, of course, very sexualized young women. Women that the developers promise are over 18-years old. With your subscription, you need to complete a level 8+ mission to get the anime-like commander that will have you on a register by the end of the day. This offer ends on the 20th of August.

In what seems to be the last of the run, players of League of Legends Teamfight Tactics can once again pick up a Little Legends egg. It is self-explanatory really, but the Little Legends egg will hatch a random Little Legend. Of course it is a dressed-up loot box, as usual. This offer ends on the 24th of August.

I’ll get shouted at for saying this, but the only good thing to come from the pandemic locking everyone in their house was a lack of sports ball. Anyway, once again the FIFA 20 Twitch Prime pack switched, this time for the 6th and penultimate pack. Once again you can pick one of four players with an overall of 83 or better, with five gold rare players. This offer ends on the 18th of August.

This is also the last week you can pick up this month’s five games. So, if you haven’t picked up KunaiDear Esther: Landmark EditionDark DevotionTurok 2: Seeds of Evil, and GRIP: Combat Racing, you’ll want to be quick. These five are only available until next Monday morning.

This week’s “Free Game with Prime,” though not actually free, is NeuroVoider. Don’t worry, I’d never heard of it either, I had to look it up and I was still scratching my head. A twin-stick roguelike/lite shooter RPG that looks to bring all the bullets and the hell that comes with that. As I’ve said before, these types of things could be interesting if we gave them some space to grow. Though that’s the paradox of indie game development, once something is made well there will be a million others to follow suit.
