Remember when all you’d hear is “Black Lives Matter,” all over the news and nothing but that? I wonder why that stopped? Anyway, this week we’ve got games that will be ending their loot or changing to new loot. Words With Friends 2, The Seven Deadly Sins, Black Desert Mobile, are some mobile games with changing loot. Apex Legends will lose the Gibraltar Tribal instinct skin, Destiny 2’s loot will change as it is finally fixed, Other games changing/ending loot include King of Avalon, Yahtzee With Buddies, DOOM Eternal, World of Warships: Warhammer 40K, Teamfight Tactics, and Reus will no longer be free with prime. Also, finally we can sing to the heavens in praise that Mafia City has finally swanned off of Twitch Prime. I’m glad to see the back of it!
Let’s start with the Farmville knock-off, Big Farm: Mobile Harvest. I moan about these mobile games giving out nothing all the time, but I think this is the week people will really feel like they are getting more than their money’s worth. “Amazon profile pic ‘horse’,” Well, you can’t win them all, I guess. Yeah, talk about being stiffed. This offer will end next Monday, the 27th.
“Keeping up with the Mobile Trash” would be a better reality TV show, but according to Amazon/Twitch, it is the hell I have to occupy. Mobile Legends: Bang Bang is once again offering the Amazon Prime Chest along with a hero and skin trial card. However, unlike most weeks when I cover these “loot drops,” I don’t have the details. It seems like I once again have to be vague. Much like the previous issues with Destiny 2, I have no clue how to tell any part of the game apart to understand what it would be in the first place.
RuneScape, I still don’t understand you either. However, your next piece of Prime nonsense is available and will continue to be until August the 11th. Yes, players of the game that I think is an MMO can pick up four Umbral Chests. Much like any other MMO, I don’t understand what that is, and I don’t care to find out.
Following Ubisoft Forward, which I covered last week after this mess, I wanted to smack anyone that made a mobile game or battle royale in the face. In short: I’m sick of them! At Ubisoft Forward, there was apparently a battle royale game spoken about, though I wouldn’t know as I was filled with glee over Watch Dogs Legion. If you’ve been able to get into the open beta of Hyper Scape, you can progress through the battle pass and get Twitch Prime rewards. All dressed in purple (hex: 9146ff), you can get a melee weapon, one celebration, one emblem, two weapon designs, and one deployment pod.
Before we get to the “Free Games With Prime,” I want to point out that I was given a press copy of Dungeon Rushers after the release. The problem with that is since playing a few years ago, I’ve forgotten most of what I have played of the 2D turn-based tactics RPG dungeon-crawler. It might be my aversion to some turn-based games, or it could be the coffee pumped into me every morning that makes me dislike standing six by six across the room from each other, running over to limp wristed-ly slap each other one at a time. However, I don’t care too much for Dungeon Rushers, it is just not the game for me.
