Another year, another month, another day, it’s just more coffee and sugar to pump into my veins in a poor attempt to not be snippy about games. Nevertheless, we’re here to talk about that of which I am snippy about all the time, Twitch Prime and it’s “loot.” This month is particularly long, though we’re going to be switching up our coverage to both make it easier for you to read, as well as to make writing and editing more simple. That and thirty-five paragraphs of my moaning sounds like the last thing you need right now.

First, let’s get the loot that’s leaving tomorrow, as we’re not directly on the first day you were able to pick it up this month. Betawarf’s Minion Masters at the moment has some loot available to pick up. You can get the Might of the Slither Lords DLC, offering content for the free-to-play MOBA tower-defense game that gives players some scaly characters to play with in-game. This offer ends tomorrow May 5th, though we had seen Minion Masters DLC offered in Twitch Prime before this. We may see another offer soon within the next week or so.

  • World of Tanks offers the Cosmic Care package and King Tiger Tank. Ending on the 5th of May.
  • Mobile Legends: Bang Bang is offering free in-game loot for all Amazon users until the 5th of May.
  • Maffia City will lose its first lot of loot, repeating for a further month again on the 8th of May through 22nd.
  • Unlike Mobile LegendsWords with Friends 2 will require a Prime subscription to pick up a loot box-style piece of loot.
  • Teamfight Tactics & League of Legends can pick up a random egg and skin each. The former ends on the 19th of May and the latter ends on the 11th.

As has been the case with GTA Online and Red Dead Online for months now, both still say “offer ends soon.” With GTA you get $1.25 million in-game cash as part of the offer and sign-up bonus, along with free access to Pixel Pete’s Arcade. Players of Red Dead Online get the polished Copper Still, bonus XP for Moonshiners, and the Collector’s bag. Along with your $1.25 million, you can pick up a further 500K just for logging in to GTA Online, taking the total to $1.75 million.

  • Players of RuneScape can pick up the exclusive Ancient Legendary armor and weapons. This offer ends on the 12th of May.
  • Warframe players can pick up the scavenger booster pack along with an Ember Warframe bundle. The booster pack offer ends on the 12th.
  • This month is the last time you’ll be able to pick up loot from Black Desert Mobile, with the current offer ending on the 12th. A further lot of loot will be available again on the 26th through the 9th of June.
  • Players of Seven Deadly Sins: Grand Cross can pick up in-game loot for the mobile game for the next several weeks. The current offer ends on the 13th, while the next offer starts and ends alongside Black Desert Mobile.

If you are playing Apex Legends, you might want to pick up the Wraith skin. The Forgotten in the Void skin will be available until the 14th of May.

The final set of the Fallout 76 loot is the Wastelanders cosmetics, which is still available for now. You can pick up the collection of cosmetics until the 15th of May.

  • If you’re a fan of MMOs, you can still pick up a few starter packs, including: World of TanksWorld of WarshipsWarframeTera, and Warface. All offers but the latter end this month on on the 18th and 19th.
  • FIFA 20 players can pick up the third set of Ultimate Team packs, which are ending on the 21st.
  • You can pick up 500 E-points, a vehicle appearance, and an accessory for Rings of Elysium until the 21st.
  • If you haven’t been playing death metal Pretty Pretty Princess (DOOM Eternal) as a DOOMicorn; the 21st will be the last time you’ll be able to pick up the costume with Twitch Prime.

Players of Destiny 2 can pick up the S’Mores emote bundle, with a ship, ghost, and sparrow. This bundle will switch over for the second to last bundle on the 27th.

For months now, you’ve been able to pick up some cosmetic loot through Twitch Prime for Rocket League. If you still want to pick up part of the bundle, you’ll want to pick it up sometime before the 26th of May. The second part of the bundle will disappear on the 26th of June.

  • Dauntless players can pick up the Blue Heaven weapon skin with some supplies, the offer will end on the 28th.
  • Borderlands 3 players can still get all the loot previously available as long as you pick up the loot by the 14th of May. Additionally, the latest “Roll Player Heads” offer ends on the 1st of June.
  • Legends of Runeterra fans can pick up the second Twitch Prime Capsule in its run. This offer ends on the 28th.

Finally, it is time to get to the games. There’s quite a lot since Twitch began it’s “Play Together Apart” campaign, resulting in a total of eight this month as of this week. Previously we covered Yono and the Celestial Elephants, as well as Old School Musical. So that leaves a total of six games to pick up this week.

Last March, Snake Pass was part of the free games with Prime bundle, and it is one of the few I’ve played since then. I’ve even written a review of the platformer, if you can call it that. Snakes don’t often jump, and if they do that is terrifying and we should set fire to Australia’s wildlife. It turned out to be quite fun, and I can’t recommend playing it enough if you’ve already got it. I’d also recommend it if you can pick it up on sale, or are picking it up now with Prime. It is a wonderfully fun game that harkens back to classic platformers in its overall feeling.

Fractured Minds, is an “immersive artistic short game” that instantly puts me off. I know if I’d say “No!” to Gone Home’s horror feeling promo artwork and set up, I’d have lost out on a beautiful game, but here I don’t get that. From screenshots, promo artwork, and how it wants to sell itself, I know the artsy-fartsy human psyche emotional thing doesn’t interest me. I understand it is probably using the interactive means of video games to tell a wonderful story that is probably very well done… I just don’t care too much about it.

Pankapu, I feel like I’m voicing a children’s cartoon every time I try to say this genuinely pretty platformer’s name. The problem is, of all things, there is not much to say other than it is very pretty.

Speaking of something I’ve no idea about and don’t understand, Avicii Invector; A music game with a man from Skyrim on the cover. I’ve no idea who or what an Avicii is; I thought that was in your mum’s bottom drawer. It is apparently a game free with Prime though.

Last May, we got a game called The Little Acre. This May, we’re getting The Little Acre providing you don’t already own it. The Little Acre is an adventure game that bounces between Disney TV cartoon and isometric Disney Funko Pop.

The final game of this week is Urban Trial: Playground, which is a dull man’s version of Ubisoft’s Trials series. After all, the prime minister of Finland doesn’t work as a developer on it. Urban Trial: Playground is a sequel to Freestyle; another game that’s about side-scrolling a motorbike over a log. Another strange choice.
