Atlus recently released yet another trailer in anticipation for the incoming Persona 5 Royal release date. The new trailer titled “Change the World” mainly features the Phantom Thieves’ new playable character, Kasumi Yoshizawa. Kasumi is a new student at Shujin Academy and an established Gymnast, who later joins the gang and becomes a Phantom Thief.

The trailer shows the exact moment this happens as she awakens to her persona. The trailer also shows similar moments where members of the gang awaken to their personas as well.

As a reminder, similar to a lot of Atlus titles, Persona 5 Royal is an expansion and re-release of the original JRPG hit Persona 5, released on PS4 in 2016. New additions in Royal include the newly revealed Thieves Den Hub area, a brand new additional semester, new confidants, boss fights, personas, fusions, skills, mini-games, and even more districts and areas to hang around. There are literally tons of new features and modes to unpack and get excited over in Persona 5 Royal.

Atlus has consistently been releasing trailers and info on the expansion for quite some time now, leading up to it’s final release. Details they’ve revealed include the removal of scenes some fans considered homophobic. Atlus also recently stated its acknowledgement of fan’s wishes for the Switch version of Persona 5.

Persona 5 Royal is slated to release March 31st on PS4 with a standard physical and digital edition and an ultimate edition; which includes a slew of outfits for the Phantom Thieves, and will cost $100.
