Capcom recently released an official trailer announcing the new Resident Evil 3 remake demo. It seems Capcom are replicating similar actions that they took for Resident Evil 2 remake, and are releasing a demo close to the game’s release. The demo will feature Jill, along with Carlos Oliveira, as she helps citizens evacuate the city during the crisis, all while she is being hunted by the nemesis. Capcom was also kind enough to feature 22 Mr Charlie statues in the demo for us to find. Capcom also stated that players who complete the demo would be rewarded with a brand new cinematic trailer exclusive to the demo. However, I’m sure someone will upload it on YouTube eventually.

Aside from the demo, players will also get the chance to try out Resident Evil 3 remake’s new multiplayer mode, Resident Evil Resistance. The open beta test is coming on March 27th. As a reminder, Resident Evil Resistance is a 4v1 multiplayer mode where players take on the role of four survivors against a mastermind controlling a series of obstacles and enemies.

The game includes six survivors in total, with four currently being playable, and more masterminds to come as well. The beta specifically will allow players play as four of the survivors against one of the masterminds, Daniel Fabron.

For more information on the multiplayer mode, you can check out our preview of it here.

The Resident Evil 3: Raccoon City Demo is set to release on March 19th on PlayStation 4, PC, and Xbox One. The beta will begin on March 27th and end on the full game’s release date, April 3rd 2020.
