Oddly enough, I have to say that last month was probably the most I’ve played a game that was part of that month’s Twitch Prime offerings in about a year. You’ll hear more about that soon enough, but this month has begun and the games on offer aren’t lighting that same fire. However, we’ll get to those much later, we have lots of add-ons and such to talk about first.

We’ll start with what ends very soon and the first of the “mystery” content of the article. Those playing League of Legends can pick up the last of the Mystery Skins before the offer is gone on Friday the 6th of March. If you are playing Teamfight Tactics: Rise of the Elements, the League of Legends-themed “auto-battler” offer also ends on the 6th. If you’re playing Rise of the Elements, you can pick up the last of the Mystery Little Legends Eggs and Mystery Emote that you’ll keep before both offers end this Friday.

On Thursday, the latest offering for Contra: Rogue Corps will either disappear and possibly be replaced or be gone altogether. This time it is Hungry Beast and Gentleman, the latter seemingly getting a very nice purple top and the panda getting something related to tigers. I’d genuinely be the worst fashion designer, “that’s a nice top and whatever that’s wearing.” Either way, you’ll have to be quick with both as they are will be gone on Thursday the 5th of March.

Next is Raid: Shadow Legends, that mobile phone game I can’t comprehend as it is a mix of Marvel’s Thanos and Drax mixed with a focus group’s idea of punk rock through magenta tinted glasses. The current drop of five ancient shards and four chickens at rank 4 will end next Monday, the 9th of March. The 7th of a total of 8 drops includes three void shards and four superior void potions, this offer ends on the 23rd of March. The 8th and final drop is offering six legendary ATK artifacts and three 3-day XP boosts, this will end on the 5th of April.

This month there are five “starter packs” for MMOs. For Warframe players, you can pick up two weapon blueprints, 100K in credits, two mods, a Glyph, and a Twitch color palette. World of Warships players can pick up: A tier 3 American cruiser, 5 Yamamoto Isoroku containers, and 1K of doubloons. TERA players can get, a 30-day elite status with including store currency, XP, gold boost, and a flying mount for travel perks; a flying dragon mount, one auto-looting pet, 5 strongbox keys, and an inventory expansion. This month’s addition of Warface involves four weapons, a 14-day VIP boost, and Twitch exclusive achievements.

The World of Tanks starter pack, Care Package Zula and the captured King Tiger tank are next. The starter pack holds A tier 3 premium light tank, 7-days of World of Tanks premium, 500 gold, 400K in credits, 3 garage slots, 2 skins, 4 high-tier rentals of premium tanks, 6 emblems and 6 inscriptions, 3 free XP boosts (300%), 3 XP boosts (50%) during battle, and 3 XP boosts (300%) for crew all lasting 1 hour each. The care package (ending on the March 12th) gets you two 14-day rentals, a discount on premium vehicles, a training manual, consumables, XP boosts for victorious battles, new missions, a day of premium, and an emblem.

Staying with the PC-focused free-to-play MMOs, Path of Exile players can pick up the last of the three loot drops with Twitch Prime this month. The “Elemental bundle” features a water elemental weapon effect and water elemental footprint effect. This final bundle for the online hack-and-slash RPG will be gone next Tuesday, the 10th of March.

Sticking with MMOs for a further minute, Dauntless players can pick up the Green Equinox weapon skin. As it says on the tin, you’ll get a weapon skin; however, you’ll also get some supplies with this small piece of loot for the MMO. This offer ends on the 19th of March.

For Rocket League players, from my understanding of the description given, you won’t be getting all four packs within the Twitch Prime offer. Reading it with the “letter of the law” rather than the spirit of it in mind, the description would suggest you’d have to have started this four-month deal on the 27th of February, 120 days before the deal ends (June 26th). Though if you’ve still not picked up the first drop you will still be able to get a further 2 drops after that.

Next up is the PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds skins for PC, Xbox One, and PS4. This month it poses the question of “What would Hugh Hefner look like if he just went out and shot people for sport?” The “Gunslinger Crate” is filled with a red jacket, waistcoat, a big hat, a pair of jeans, a white shirt, some boots, and two engraved weapons. This drop will end on the 26th of March.

We’ll continue the last-stage drops with Black Desert Mobile, unsurprisingly a mobile game. The 6th and final drop, which only started on Wednesday, is 100 boss stamps. To put it very lightly, that is about as exciting as being part of the English Marmite appreciation society, the Umami Barmy Army. This offer ends on the 17th of March.

Destiny 2 Players can pick up the second drop of the total of 6 over the coming months now. This month’s bundle includes the Poultry Petting Emote, Praxic Finery Sparrow, Age of Tomorrow Shell, and Sails of Osiris Ship. If I knew anything about Destiny 2, I may have been able to explain what they are, but I know nothing about the game. This offer ends on the 26th of March, though interestingly it is the first one I’ve noticed to offer the deal not only to PC, PS4, and Xbox One players, but also Stadia players.

Sticking to deals available for the one Stadia owner that’s not dropped it already as Google will soon enough, let’s discuss Borderlands 3. Players of the looter-shooter can get two drops in the form of the Caster Blaster weapon trinket and 3 gold keys, as well as the Stream Dech Echo skin and 3 gold keys. The third drop of the offer will come on the 16th of March, and if you’re looking to pick up all four, you’ll have to do so before the 14th of May.

Speaking of something that feels like it doesn’t have an end in sight anytime soon, let’s get to the two that have said “offer ending soon” for months now. Players of Red Dead 2 can get the Polished copper upgrade, the collector’s bag, a 10% discount on in-game purchases, and boosted value to purchases of gold bars in Red Dead Online. This offer will supposedly “end soon,” but we don’t know exactly when.

GTA Online players can pick up similar discounts and boosts with purchases of Shark cash cards. Players will also get an extra $250K in-game for linking accounts, along with the 10% discount on in-game purchases. Players also get free access to Pixel Pete’s Arcade property from a recent update. Much like Red Dead Online players, GTA Online players can expect this to “end soon,” though there’s no word on how soon that will be.

Sports! Things I don’t know the first thing about, as evident in the Rugby 20 review from the other week. For the next few months (through summer) Twitch Prime members who play FIFA 20 can pick up one of the “Ultimate Team” packs for each month. This months offer provides players with 1 player with an 81 (or more) OVR and 4 rare gold player items. If I knew the first thing about that and could muster up a tiny amount of energy, I’d be making lots of money off of that on YouTube promoting gambling.

To continue with another sports organization that’s causing unforeseen damage to people, there is also a Madden NFL 20 “Ultimate Team” pack up for offer. Well, there are two as last month’s Super Bowl pack is still available for offer with the 82+ OVR elite Super Bowl player with an increased chance at high-end Super Bowl Players, this comes with three silver or better players. This month’s “Tomorrow’s Superstars” lets you pick between a 90 OVR of Sam Darnold, Mack Wilson, Orlando Brown Jr., Juan Thornhill, or Dallas Goedert.

Players of the popular Rainbow Six Siege, a game I’ve heard is about sieging but not in the way I’d know it, continues with more skins for its operators. This time it is the Maestro operator set, offering another set of camo from Ubisoft’s previous shooter Haze; A game about men on all the drugs running into a forest wearing luminescent yellow outfits. You might as well run into boxing ring singing “when you’re a Jet, you’re a Jet!” for how obvious you are being. The Maestro Operator Skin includes the yellow camo for Maestro and a yell charm for your gun. This offer ends on the 24th of March; when it will be replaced with something stupid.

Ring of Elysium players can get the second Prime-exclusive skin collection this month. Players of the free-to-play battle royale will get an exclusive AK47 weapon skin, a loading screen, and three supply boxes for the game. This offer ends on the 20th of March.

Apex Legends player can do as the crusaders did in the siege of Ma’arra and feed on some skins. Ok, one skin for Revenant as the Gilded Rose skin is available now with Twitch Prime. This offer ends on the 19th of March.

Staying with the cannibalistic tendencies similar to that of 7th president of the United States, Andrew Jackson, the Fallout 76 player can still pick up the Prime Winter Bundle. This contains the Raider banding iron weapon skin, three Nuka-Cherry armor paints (metal, leather, and combat), and a Tree pose for photo mode. This offer ends on the 9th of April.

Just for the end, let’s talk about the last drop for Mobile Legends Bang Bang, think League of Legends but a rip off for mobile. The 9th and final drop contains: 100 diamonds, a Mobile Legends Bang Bang-Amazon chest, an Alpha hero trial card with Alpha’s Sea Gladiator skin trialed for 7 days, and a Minotaur hero trial card with Minotaur’s Orbiter skin trial for 7 days. This offer ends on the 12th of March.

Finally, we come to the last of the in-game loot. Warframe players can pick up two drops along with their starter pack. You can still pick up the Ember Warframe content giving you an ember Warframe, Warframe slot, and a filigree Prime decoration. As well as this month’s content, a static reactor prime sigil. The latter offer ends on the 7th of April.

The first of the games this month is something previously on offer for Prime members, Bomber Crew. Think World War 2, FTL‘s ship management, and a real-time strategy. If I have one problem with Bomber Crew, and I do, it is how it keeps the frantic FTL-style of everything going on at once, but lacks that moment of pausing to think about anything or your men having urgency, especially when the Luftwaffe are blowing chunks out the plane. That’s not a bad problem to have, but it’s not what I’m in it for.

Next up is Furi, a game that almost tries to be Suda51’s No More Heroes and Shinji Mikami’s God Hand. It is a mix of hack-and-slash and bullet-hell, making it a little mad and confusing, but I wouldn’t say too the worst thing in the world. That said, I won’t say I’d be as interested in playing it when I’ve got more interest in other things in the Twitch Prime library.

Following that is Epistory – Typing Chronicles. You’d be taking copious amounts of rat-infested sewage waste to assume a dyslexic is excited about a typing tutor in 2020. I wasn’t interested when Mario did it in 1992 or 1996, mostly because I wasn’t born and secondly because I don’t like Mario. Given when I spoke about my dyslexia and gaming, I said fantasy is counter-intuitive to the interest of having fun, so I think I’ll be avoiding this one for the most part too.

Whispers of a Machine is a point & click adventure that’s not set in a mansion in the middle of a stormy night. Instead, with a title like that you’d be stupid to be surprised, it is a sci-fi themed game that will still require the usual amount of drugs to solve a simple problem that a human could use logic on, but a developer will always emulate the one South Park episode and sniffs a cat’s anus. It could be interesting, but it will require a lot of work to do something special.

The final game for the month is Mugsters, a physics-y level-based sandbox where you play as (I think) the aliens invading earth. A silly isometric poly aesthetic accentuated by all the explosions, murder, and mayhem you’ll cause. Oddly the most interesting one of the lot for those that already picked up Bomber Crew when it was last given away on Prime, but also the one I’d be playing out of the other four anyway.

One would assume the next time we’ll be talking games and Twitch Prime will be Wednesday, April the 1st. Let’s hope April Fools doesn’t disappoint?
