About this time last month, I spoke about the Diamond Casino & Resort, which had just gone under construction in Grand Theft Auto Online. I don’t know if this affected the single-player, though I assume we won’t see the casino open in Los Santos; so Trevor can be like a cat and dead bird, but with a prostitute. However, we now when the Diamond Casino & Resort will open, and who is invited.

It was very early this month when I last spoke about Grand Theft Auto Online, and it was about the work Twitch Prime is doing with Rockstar to give people a bit of in-game money. If you are very quick and know what you are looking for, you can get some money to play in the casino next week. Twitch Prime members that have linked their accounts to Rockstar’s Social Club will receive $1.25 million or the equivalent of about $20 of your own money. Yes, free micro-transaction money for the cost of signing up to the Social Club, paying your Twitch Prime membership, and playing Grand Theft Auto Online.

Sound like the deal of a lifetime to you? Well, if you are intrigued by that, and you sign up by midnight on the 19th of July; you’ll also get free access to the penthouse suite. However, there is no further word on what this penthouse will provide: free strippers, blackjack, and a robot best-friend? We don’t know. Rockstar and Twitch Prime are keeping it fairly tight-lipped for this one.

All GTA Online players who link their Social Club account with @TwitchPrime and claim their Twitch Prime benefits by the end of day on July 19th will get free access to the Master Penthouse in the Diamond Casino & Resort.

Now the case of the grand opening. The Diamond Casino & Resort will open on Tuesday the 23rd of July. Yes, I had thought this magnificent spectacle would be drawn out a little longer. At the earliest, my estimate would have been late August or, possibly October at the latest.
