Last year, at E3’s PC Gaming Show, you may remember a beautiful looking game called Sable, designed in a French and Belgian comic book style. It was by far one of the best things to come from the showcase, and that is saying something since it was the first time I saw Satisfactory. However, we didn’t know much about the release date or release window. We would assume that the release would be within a year or so after the reveal, which has been proven wrong.

In an update, Raw Fury and Shedworks have stated: “We’ve now been working on the game full time since October 2017. We initially thought the game would take us around 2 years to develop.” Going on to say, “It was an extremely rough estimate and for us to fully realize the game we want to make, we now think we need a bit more time. It was always going to be tight getting the game out in 2019 so now we’ve made the decision to take more time with the game and aim for (the) release in 2020.” They also commented on being grateful to the publisher for their support and updated us on who has joined the very small team. You can read that entire piece here.

Some may be unhappy to hear this beautiful game is being delayed a while longer. However, as I’m so quick to say to anyone upset by delays in games, this just means it can only be better than it currently is. This also shows hope that Daniel and Gregorios aren’t falling into the pitfall some developers are by putting themselves into, “crunch periods.” Personally, I am glad we’ve gotten an update, and we’ve also been told that Sable is coming to PC and consoles in 2020.
