I’m a big fan of the Amazon Prime subscription. Not only do you get the Amazon bonuses such as a music streaming service, Prime Video, 1 Day delivery, a free Kindle book a month, grocery shopping, and several other things, but also Twitch Prime. Twitch Prime gives you one free subscription to any channel you desire, and is also used to stop ads for that channel, while also providing all the “Twitch Loot” that has been going out for almost a year now. A Prime subscription is almost like the Xbox Gamepass of your life and the inevitability we’re all heading to; one where Jeff Bezos owns half the world, we’re all paying him, and he pays his workers pennies in return.

However, this month there are several pieces of loot you may be interested in picking up. This includes a free twelve month Nintendo Switch Online subscription, you don’t have to pay any extra or jump through hoops to get this, just be subscribed to Twitch Prime and link your accounts. This may even lead to some further partnerships between Nintendo and Amazon/Twitch in the future.

Furthermore, there are several other pieces of loot sitting in the wings you may also be interested in. For example, if you enjoy World of Tanks you could pick up the “in-game loot” available until April 30th called “World of Tanks: Care Package Charlie.” An in-game package to get you started in the World of Tanks which includes exclusive decals for your tanks, a 14-day premium membership for premium tanks, in-game gold, and a collection of consumables.

However, if you are more a Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 fan, Twitch Prime has you covered also with the “Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 Customization Bundle” which is available until April 29th. This bundle includes Twitch colored camouflage, Weapon skins, and a special parachute for your character.

If you are a SMITE fan, you would most likely want to pick up the “SMITE: Desert Dragon Neith Bundle” which is available until the 24th of April. This bundle includes Neith (playable character), a special skin, unique loading screens, music, and jump stamp. Since I don’t play SMITE, I don’t have the slightest clue of what that means, however, you will also get an exclusive Mitten, a tabby cat, chicken skin for Realm Royal.

The next one you will have to be quick on as it runs out on April 10th, with the “Abathur: Evolved Bundle” for StarCraft 2. From the information page the description is vague, “Twitch Prime members who enroll in this StarCraft II campaign before April 10 will receive the Abathur: Evolved Bundle, which includes the Abathur Announcer and Co-op Commander as well as a new console skin, race banner, and portrait pack.” As a non-StarCraft 2 player, I have no clue how good the bundle is, but I am sure fans will be interested in it.

Furthermore, if you are a League of Legends fan you will have to be quicker as your content will run out on April 3rd. The “Summoner’s Crown Capsule” for League of Legends, will include a permanent skin, Ward skin, and summoner icon when you claim this Twitch Prime loot. Once again, this is outside of my realm of gaming so I can’t tell you if this is worth getting into League of Legends for.

As for another free-to-play game, Apex Legends players can pick up the “Apex Legends: Omega Point Pathfinder” loot, which is available until the 18th of April. This in-game loot includes one Omega Point Pathfinder skin and five Apex Packs. From the outside looking in, I would assume that these are what Apex Legends players call loot boxes.

If you are an MMORPG fan you’ll possibly love the first “En Masse: Action RPG Pack“, a collection of skins and such for TERA, Closers, and includes the Beta access to Breach. This will be available until April 22nd to all Twitch Prime subscribers.

More loot box/virtual currency is available for NBA 2K19 players with the: “NBA 2K19 – MyTEAM packs & Virtual Currency” loot. This in-game loot will be available until April 12th and will include 25,000 VC and five Twitch Prime MyTeam packs. Each player in all packs will range from Emerald to Diamond and Pink Diamond. Once again, I am not a player of the NBA series nor am I familiar with purchasing VC and player packs in sports games.

Next is Warframe loot, specifically four lots of body camo for your player in the “Warface: Male Nanosuits Bundle.” This loot is available until May the 6th.

The Grand Tour video game also has in-game loot available through your Twitch Prime subscription. Specifically, some cars. If you claim this offer by May 31st you will receive the Porche 918 Spyder Crown edition; as well as three other special-edition cars from the season 3 releases.

The final Twitch Prime bundle for Neverwinter is the “Neverwinter: Professions Bundle” which is still available until April the 18th. This bundle includes 30 days of in-game VIP, professionals level boost, Professions Artisan Recruitment, and two Professions Supplement Packs. Once again, much like the battle royal, other MMO, and sports content, I am out of the loop on this one.

The next one on this list of Twitch Prime loot is an oddity to myself and isn’t free with your Twitch Prime subscription. However, if you own a Twitch Prime subscription, want to buy an Overwatch League pass for 2019, and want 200 Overwatch League tokens, 20% off Overwatch merchandise, and 500 Twitch bits you can pay $14.99 for all of it. If you are a huge fan of the Overwatch League and enjoy spectating this may be for you.

If you want to get started with an MMO, why not try Final Fantasy XIV online? With your Twitch Prime subscription, you can get a starter’s boost into this MMO for free. You will get a 30-day subscription and begin as the Warrior of Light at level 50.

Finally, we’ve come to the most important part of the Twitch Prime subscription: free games. Last month included the wonderful Snake Pass, a platformer with a twissssst, if you will, alongside The King’s Bird, Kebounce, and Star Vikings Forever. However, this month is a little smaller as you can purchase them all individually for less than $60. This month includes: Inner Space, Her Story, Keep in Mind Remastered, and Joggernauts.

If any of the content covered in this article interests you, hurry on over to Twitch and pick up your Prime loot, or start your free trial now.
