PowerWash Simulator 2 Gets new Trailer

Last week, Twitch held the Galaxies showcase. This showcase revealed new details on many indie projects while also announcing others. PowerWash Simulator 2 took a bite-sized segment while also revealing content for its predecessor.

PowerWash Simulator 2 revealed a new trailer, which showcased 60 seconds of what to expect from the game. While that might not seem like much, it showed everything from Split-Screen Co-op to new levels and even the soap mechanic. Here is what the press release says about the trailer:

“Following its announcement earlier this month, FuturLab provided the next look at PowerWash Simulator 2 as part of the Galaxies showcase, which took place live on Twitch [Thursday]. In 60 seconds, the development team provided a sneak peek at Split Screen Co-op, Soap, Home Base[,] and more levels! The footage shown in the video is ‘in-development’, and further improvements will be made to the game before launch later this year.”

At the same time, during this event a new DLC was revealed for PowerWash Simulator called “The Muckingham Files 5”. Available now on all platforms, this new content update has a particularly sweet theme. The press release is quoted as saying –

“While you wait, treat yourself to a sweet clean-up! Muckingham’s Dessert Parlour is in a sticky situation after an unexpected visit from a rogue raccoon[, which] has left a lasting impression. Not just on the other patrons, but the counters, walls[,] and ceilings too.

Melt away goop by the scoopful and savour soft-serve satisfaction in the fifth instalment of The Muckingham Files. Restore the Dessert Parlour to its former knickerbocker-glory and indulge in a dirt-busting delicacy so good that you’ll want a second helping.”

PowerWash Simulator 2 will release in late 2025 on PC, PlayStation, and Xbox consoles. You can play the new content update for PowerWash Simulator now though, so fans have plenty of sweetness to sink their teeth into. Futurlab has also promised more details in the coming months, so I’m excited to see what comes next.
