PowerWash Simulator 2 Announced

The staff here at Phenixx Gaming love a good Dad simulator. I’ve even joked that I’m a “childless father” because of how many Dad sims I play. One of my favorites is PowerWash Simulator, and it seems like fans are getting even more of FuturLab’s popular powerwashing game.

PowerWash Simulator 2 has been announced. Despite not having a release date yet, FuturLab has revealed new locations, features, and a whole new campaign. Here is what the press release says about the new announcement:

“FuturLab, the award-winning UK game studio, invites you to return to Muckingham in PowerWash Simulator 2, a sud-tacular follow up to the worldwide pressure washing sim phenomenon that has worked gamers up into a lather since 2022.

Releasing later this year on PlayStation®5, Xbox Series X|S and PC, PowerWash Simulator 2 is bubbling with fresh locations in a whole new campaign, improved visuals, soap-erior equipment and splashy features. Effortlessly transform soiled surroundings into clean, serene scenes, solo or with pals either online or – for the first time – in split-screen. Satisfaction is a spray away!”

Dan Chequer, Design Director at FuturLab commented on the announcement, stating: “PowerWash Simulator 2 feels like a natural evolution from its predecessor. The original game’s design was all about eliminating anything that detracted from the pure satisfaction of taking something dirty and making it clean. PowerWash Simulator 2 is all about adding in even more avenues for players to achieve that same sense of satisfaction, with new tools, features and quality of life improvements.

It probably seems strange, but separate from being excited about PowerWash Simulator 2, I’m really happy for the team at FuturLab. It’s rare for an Indie studio to find the level of success they have, and to be able to work on a sequel is even more exciting. We don’t have a release date yet, but I’m really excited to see what comes next with PowerWash Simulator 2.
