Uncle Chop’s Rocket Shop has seen a fair bit of success since its release. The comparisons to games like Papers, Please as well as the varied gameplay options have made it a very enjoyable experience. Now, new content will give current players plenty to sink their teeth into.

The 1.1 update for Uncle Chop’s Rocket Shop is now available across all major platforms. This update adds new machines, upgrades, and ways to customize your run across both the Frantic (timed) and Focused (untimed) difficulties. Here is what the press release says about the update:

“The update introduces seven brand-new vending machines and five powerful omen upgrades, giving players even more ways to customise a run. Working with the existing Frantic (timed) and Focused (untimed) game modes, these new additions offer different ways to get s**t done!

The new vending machines provide valuable buffs, from increasing job earnings to boosting the likelihood of attracting customers from a specific faction, while the new omen upgrades deliver game-changing advantages – like the ability to survive a fatal job – ensuring every run feels fresh and rewarding.

In addition to the new upgrades, the update brings a host of quality-of-life improvements and bug fixes, ensuring a smoother and more enjoyable repair journey.

So, grab your tools, and dive back into the weird world of Uncle Chop’s Rocket Shop. Those spaceships ain’t gonna fix themselves!”

I’m glad that Uncle Chop’s Rocket Shop has been so successful. I’ve enjoyed my time with it, even though the controls on Switch are a little bit wonky. I’m sure time and a few patches and updates have helped with that though. I’ll have to play around with the new content in this update and see how it has improved. Let us know in the comments how you feel about the new Uncle Chop’s Rocket Shop 1.1 update.
