Monday, the next game from My Friend Pedro developer has been announced. Tuesday, Cattle County is part of the SNF ahead of its release, Lies of P‘s upcoming DLC which has me more excited than that first time you play Bloodborne has a trailer, and Wax Heads is also coming to the Xbox Series X|S. Wednesday, Demon Tides is part of the SNF. There was nothing on Thursday, so because I’m awkward, I wrote an editorial of Steam Next Fest demo suggestions to check out instead of news coverage.

Onto the Epic Games Store, and it is an odd couple of weeks now. This week you have the option of Mages of Mystralia, again, or sucking eggs and next week it is a similar deal. Previously offered as part of the Christmas (“Holiday”) free-game-a-day thing Epic likes doing, I think (like many of us) you’ve had it in your library but never played it because its art style is the PS4 family-friendly color pallette. While appealing on the surface, that alone shouldn’t be the key takeaway, as the spell-crafting mechanic should be highlighted more and work better in-game, but it doesn’t.

All this week you can pick up Mages of Mystralia on the Epic Games Store until Thursday, the 6th of March. Moving on to next week, don’t be coming at me with cow-based puns, we have Them’s Fightin’ Herds. Don’t worry, I hate myself too. A repeat of 2022’s Christmas daily offerings, it is a cross between My Little Pony and Mortal Kombat, which sounds far more interesting than it actually is.
