Turmoil is Free on Epic

On Monday, nothing happened. What do you expect, we’ve been on a break and I quite enjoyed the time off, as well as traveling on the team bus of an indescript sports team to a great victory. Beyond that, nothing has happened because until CES, the tech and gaming/entertainment news has been drier than a priest’s conversation.

Moving on to the Epic Games Store, it is something that I’m sure we’ve spoken about before for some Prime Gaming or otherwise, Turmoil. Released in 2016, this Texas simulator has you trying to become an oil baron in a 2D plane, sucking up the oily black stuff that some people are stupid enough to call “gas.” Being a simple business simulator you are going head-to-head with other wannabe oil barons in online co-op or you can face off with AI competitors who totally don’t cheat. You must upgrade and maximize profit as best as possible, but beware… Luigi might be behind you.

All this week, you can pick up Turmoil on the Epic Games store for free until Thursday, the 16th of January. For $6.99 each, you can also pick up the “Deeper Underground” and “The Heat is On” DLCs if you so wish. On to next week, Epic is trying to make me want to do co-op things in Escape Academy. Epic I enjoyed my break because I didn’t have to be around people, learn this. Colorful, escape-the-room style puzzles, Coin Crew Games’ Escape Academy might be worth more to some than Turmoil at this point.
