The news that Nintendo was launching its own app for the music featured in its franchises wasn’t exactly what fans hoped to hear this past fall. Sure, a new console announcement might have been a bit more exciting, but the Nintendo Music app is certainly something that Nintendo fans will explore. The app has added game music from a few titles since launch, on top of its already fairly expansive collection of themes, sound effects, and more. The latest additions feature one of the best-selling games on the Nintendo Switch and a game you might not have thought about in years. Here are the latest updates to the Nintendo Music app.

Two new additions to the Nintendo Music app offer different takes on the illustrious history of Nintendo’s top composers. The first addition is one of the most inventive titles in recent memory for Nintendo’s mustachioed mascot. Super Mario Bros. Wonder might be one of the biggest swings Nintendo has taken in years for their mainline Mario games, but the music is still the high quality you’ve come to expect. If you haven’t memorized some of these tracks too well since playing the game, you can revisit them now in the Nintendo Music app and enjoy all of the orchestrated chaos and beauty the soundtrack offers.

The other addition might be a bit more surprising. Nintendo Music has added tracks from Brain Age: Train Your Brain in Minutes a Day! for the Nintendo DS. This game, the first official title in the Brain Age series, wasn’t a game I’ve thought about in years, but I played it quite a bit. Some of the songs were instantly familiar after exploring the Nintendo Music app, and I might need to dig out my copy of the DS puzzle game to check out again this holiday season for nostalgia.
