Gas Station Simulator Revamped in New Update

I love seeing how developers evolve their games. It is always a pleasure to see them take player feedback and use it to mold things and rebuild things in more enjoyable ways or make a better experience. As part of their recently announced roadmap, Drago Entertainment has released their newest update to Gas Station Simulator with many big changes.

This update, dubbed the “Revamp Update” features upgraded visuals and dozens of new fixes. To celebrate this, Drago Entertainment has slashed the price of Gas Station Simulator down by 35% of its usual $19.99 price point. For the duration of the Steam Autumn Sale, you can purchase Gas Station Simulator for $12.99, and this is what the press release says about the new update:

“The Revamp Update brings a suite of highly requested changes to Gas Station Simulator, significantly enhancing its look and feel. Performance improvements include the addition of notebook graphics settings, making the game accessible to a broader audience. The update also rebalances the ‘Car Junkyard’ DLC contracts and introduces eight new junkyard cars to the base game.”

The “Car Junkyard” DLC isn’t the only one that has gotten adjustments. The “Tidal Wave” DLC and other add-ons have been rebalanced as well. There were a variety of bug fixes too, which should make the game experience for Gas Station Simulator more stable and enjoyable overall. Looking over the Update Summary (provided here), it seems that the developers also made attempts to ensure that the game was visually upgraded for higher-end systems and easier to play on lower-end systems.

I’m a big fan of Gas Station Simulator and I’m happy that these changes are being made. There are so many games that get released and never have their bugs resolved. It’s refreshing to see a developer that actually takes the time to balance/adjust not just the base game, but their released DLCs as well. There’s more to look forward to from here on as well, thanks to the roadmap that was revealed, so the future is bright for Gas Station Simulator fans.
