It amazes me that despite House Flipper 2 being out in the wild, the original game is still receiving content. It isn’t a bad thing, but in a world where most times sequels lead to the original getting dropped like a bad habit, it is surprising. House Flipper’s newest expansion has finally made its way to PC and consoles, offering a delicious renovation experience.

Frozen Way and Game Formatic have announced that the “Dine Out” expansion for House Flipper is available now on Steam, PlayStation, and Xbox consoles. You can purchase the DLC for $14.99 on PC and for the next two weeks, there is a 10% discount as well. PlayStation and Xbox players have to pay $19.99 for the DLC, though there is no explanation as to why there is a discrepancy.

Here is what the press release says about the DLC: “[The] ‘Dine Out’ DLC will let you get your foot in the door of the restaurant business. It comes with a set of engaging, immersive quests that will allow you to explore and renovate a variety of restaurants, cafes, sushi bars, wine cellars[,] and pizzerias. The DLC also introduces numerous new items, mechanics[,] and other features that will make your House Flipper experience more fun and comfortable.

With the release of this gastronomic-themed expansion, several new free features will also be added to the base game to enhance gameplay. These features include the option to reset houses, a simplified grid system, wall highlights for construction and demolition, an improved store filter that allows sorting of items by expansions and the base game, and enhancements to storage optimization and FPS performance.

With the release of this DLC, there is also a bundle that allows you to purchase the DLC and base game together. You can also spend a little more and pick up the Base Game with all of the currently released expansions as well. I’m still a bit frustrated by how little support the Nintendo Switch version of House Flipper gets, but this expansion release at least shows that they’re happily creating new content for House Flipper, so that’s something.
