Monday, Tell Me Your Story is now on Xbox Series S|X. Tuesday, Sony is set to acquire Kadokawa, the parent company of FromSoftware, and Atelier Yumia‘s combat has been revealed by Koei Tecmo. Wednesday, there is a demo available for Dynasty Warriors: Origins. Moving on to the Epic Games Store, it is something quite depressing, Beholder. As I said last week, what everyone wants heading into the dark and questionable future of December is a heavy dose of McCarthyism, or Nazi-ism. Installed as a state landlord, you are spying on your tenants, calling in the secret police because Mildred next door smokes crack in the comfort of her own home and Adam is having a taste of Steve. Call me what you will, I’m not really in the mood for totalitarian vibes right now, how about you?
All this week, you can pick up Beholder on the Epic Games Store until Thursday, the 28th of November. On to next week, and it is something else we’ve seen elsewhere like Prime Gaming, Brotato. I want to say a “Survivors-like” or Bullet Heaven before the genre was repopularized again, but honestly I find it difficult to say I can as I can’t think of a top-down arena shooter Rogue-lite I’ve enjoyed. Dragging a paragraph out of this is going to be fun next week.
