Monday, The Rise of the Golden Idol is set to get four DLCs post-launch. Tuesday, Team17 and Black Mesa dev Crowbar Collective have revealed a new game, and Moon Knight is coming to Marvel Rivals. Wednesday, Gaming Factory announced Pizza Slice, or if you wishlist it on Steam your activity will say Pizza Simulator, and Loco Motive is Murder on the Orient Express with pixel art. Convince me otherwise, I dare you. Thursday, after a streamer attempted to get Doom to run on horse electrolytes, I’m sure other horse liquids will be used next, and a new Monster Hunter game has been announced for mobile.
Moving on to the Epic Games Store and it is a double bill with someone taking the piss. Also available through Prime Gaming for the Epic Games Store this month, you can pick up Noumenon Games’ 2015 classic puzzler, Snakebird Complete. As I said before, you play as a snakebird in a turn-based 2D platforming-style puzzler where you need to eat fruit and get to the gay portals. Novel in concept now, well worth teasing the brain, either using your Prime offering or Epic’s.
Also available now is KONAMI’s 2019 release, Castlevania Anniversary Collection. None of this Mozart’s Symphony of the Night, none of the particularly good ones like Aria of Sorrow or Rondo of Blood if you’re ill, but instead the “classics.” The original 1986 Castlevania, Simon’s Quest (right up there with Clive), Dracula’s Curse, Super Castlevania IV, The Adventure, Belmont’s Revenge, Bloodlines, and Kid Dracula. All of which gets you up to 1994.
All this week you can pick up Castlevania Anniversary Collection and Snakebird Complete on the Epic Games Store until Thursday, the 21st of November. Onto next week and thus far it isn’t a double bill set to spoil my day, at least not yet. However, it does mean once again talking about something I’ve exhausted my entire being looking for something to say on, Beholder. I guess because some of us aren’t in enough of a depressing mood, we need to add McCarthyism to the mix.
