Since Session: Skate Sim launched in 2022, it has had a loyal following and has reinvigorated the skating game genre. In the absence of a proper Skate 4, Session: Skate Sim allowed people to dive back into doing tricks and enjoying skating. Now, after 2 years of content, Session: Skate Sim is getting new content to celebrate the anniversary.

Currently, before the second anniversary, Session has gotten six content updates and maintains a player base of 2.5 million on Steam. The studio’s continued support for the game has led to a new place to skate and other new additions. Here is what the press release says about the second-anniversary festivities:

“NACON and creā-ture Studios are pleased to announce the arrival of new additional content for Session: Skate Sim, now available for PlayStation®5, PlayStation®4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One and PC (Steam, Epic Games Store).

Session: Skate Sim is also celebrating its second anniversary! Since its launch in September 2022, the game has been regularly enriched with no less than 6 additional contents [sic] and has already won over 2.5 million players worldwide. The studio aims to continue actively supporting the game and plans to bring new updates and additional content on a regular basis.

In the heart of the Czech capital, in Letná Park, players can now enjoy a brand-new spot renowned for its breathtaking views over Prague and its festive atmosphere. It’s the perfect place for skateboarding enthusiasts to celebrate the game’s 2nd anniversary! This additional content also includes 6 new Object Dropper items and 2 exclusive outfits.”

The Prague additional content pack is available now for $7.99. Additionally, you can purchase the “Year One” pack, which contains all of the content packs released before December 31^st, 2023 for $29.99 USD. The Year One pack contains 4 maps, several outfits, several boards, and skateboarder Chris Cole as a playable character.

Fans of Session: Skate Sim still have a lot to look forward to if this reveal is anything to go by. The developer’s devotion to creating new content is also a good thing, since the fanbase’s devotion doesn’t seem to be ending anytime soon.
