Special Rocket League Line of CRKD Controllers to Release

I’m a sucker for a new controller, especially one that elevates my favorite ways to game. For me, there are a few controllers that get things completely right that make me a lifelong user. When it comes to the handheld gaming with my favorite Nintendo console, I’m really only ever using one thing: the Nitro Deck. As an early adopter of CRKD’s Nitro Deck controller for the Nintendo Switch, it’s exciting to see a new expanded design coming soon. Alongside a collaboration with Rocket League, The NEO S and Nitro Deck will be launched alongside a new Nitro Deck+ with expanded features.

The Rocket League Collection features three CRKD products: the Nitro Deck Rocket League Silver Edition, the Nitro Deck+ Rocket League Gold Edition with Carry Case, and the NEO S Rocket League Gold Edition with Charging Dock, each complete with stunning Rocket League-themed artwork inspired by the game itself. The baseline Nitro Deck Silver Edition will launch for $59.99 USD, the NEO S Gold Edition for the same $59.99 USD price tag, and the Nitro Deck+ Gold Edition for $89.99 along with a carrying case. The Nitro Deck is CRKD’s flagship product and a great option for handheld Switch gaming. The device features Hall Effect thumbsticks that eliminate stick drift as well as programmable back buttons for added gameplay versatility, along with motion controls, vibration feedback, and a Turbo function. For more retro-minded gamers the NEO S is a throwback controller with wireless connectivity for the Switch, PC, mobile devices, and smart TV gaming.

Lastly, the Nitro Deck+ boasts several new features, including a new symmetrical thumbstick layout and extra ‘Sidekick’ programmable buttons which when used in conjunction with the back buttons allow for quick access to action commands without lifting your thumbs from the sticks. Additionally, the Nitro Deck+ features HDMI compatibility for TV play which is a huge gamechanger. I’m excited to give the Nitro Deck+ a shot with my projector when I’m itching to expand things onto my wall.
